The ''Waifuification'' of the Witcher 3

So I should just bend over and accept anti-consumer behaviour? No thank you, I prefer to confront people directly and ask them questions. Apparently consumers standing up for themselves is a foreign concept around here. I quoted a dev and asked him a question in the ''Yennefer thread'', and got...

The ''Waifuification'' of the Witcher 3

You made a series of assumptions, such as my points not being valid because I'm not an ''experienced member'' of this place. Or that the point of this thread is to ''bait'' people. Those are the things that are not true. You're free to think you're right, but that doesn't make it so, you're wrong.

    Yennefer of Vengerberg (all spoilers)

I think your post is a perfect example of the word ''pointless'', primarily because it doesn't convey any information relevant to anyone. Could you write that again please? I really didn't understand.

The ''Waifuification'' of the Witcher 3

Is it really absurd of fans of the series to expect that the developers fix issues with the game instead of deciding to remove and add content that contradict the in-game universe?

The ''Waifuification'' of the Witcher 3

Well I guess your post says everything I need to know. Please don't reply further because you don't seem to know anything. On the odd chance that you might understand: The books are canon to the games The games are not canon to the books. The games are sequels to the books, beacuse the books...

The ''Waifuification'' of the Witcher 3

This is the reason why the CDR forums are looked down upon. Just because someone doesn't agree with the Triss inquisition, doesn't mean the thread should be locked. Just because you ''feel'' something, doesn't mean the thread was intended to make you ''feel'' that way. If you get ''triggered''...

    Yennefer of Vengerberg (all spoilers)

Do you intend to adress the most obvious issues with the game? One of them being the lack of interaction between Yennefer and Ciri, or are you going to spend your resources on removing Yennefer content and replacing it with Triss content as the game director confirmed you're now working towards...

The ''Waifuification'' of the Witcher 3

I think the people who feel like they've been ''triggered'' needs to stop coming with false accusations, you can always move to a ''trigger-free'' environment on Tumblr if you feel like reading this thread, despite no-one being singled out or targeted by any deragotary comments, ''triggers''...

The ''Waifuification'' of the Witcher 3

I haven't been disrespectful towards anyone. I've from my knowledge within the gaming scene for the past two decades made an educated guess as to what has happened to the Witcher fanbase, and where all these people who like Triss are coming from. It really isn't a foreign idea. People who...

The ''Waifuification'' of the Witcher 3

Hold on now, you're claiming games are not for me, while recommending me to go read the books instead of playing games because in games it's not ''only'' the story that matters, while we're discussing story-related issues with the game? I'm not quite sure you understand what you're writing...

The ''Waifuification'' of the Witcher 3

For every normal person, there's atleast ten people who are so called ''Triss fans'' To even suggest that CDR should stay faithful to the series they've created themselves, and not cave in to ridicilous demands, is equal to heresy in these peoples eyes.

The ''Waifuification'' of the Witcher 3

Then it must've been a very insignificant reference because I don't recall anything of the sort. And yes I agree, this whole ''romance option'' thing just makes games worse. They should stick to Triss in TW1 and TW2 and Yennefer in TW3, it would make for a better story because it would give CDR...

Was I supposed to hate Nilfgaard?

If you read the books, you will have a better picture of the northern kingdoms and nilfgaard. The games alone don't present a good enough picture. It was obvious though, that CDR intended to present both parties as ''neutral'' with both ''good'' and ''bad'' as possible during TW3.

The ''Waifuification'' of the Witcher 3

If any new content related to Triss should be added to the game, it should be about Triss' actions in the books towards Ciri, and her manipulation of Geralts amnesia, that would be sought after, necessary and worthwhile addition to the Witcher 3, while addressing the feeling apparently many of...

The ''Waifuification'' of the Witcher 3

I can't be held accountable for you feeling ''triggered''. I'm making an educated guess to explain what's currently happening in the Witcher games fanbase, if you somehow feel targeted by my description, then you likely fit the description. It isn'y my intention to ''ridicule'' you, but if you...

The ''Waifuification'' of the Witcher 3

I didn't know a ''core philosophy'' of the Witcher games was having every single NPC suddenly become aware that the legendary Witcher Geralt of Rivia has abandoned the legendary sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg for.. What was her name again? Trisc Merryglod? I don't know, some nobody. What are...

The ''Waifuification'' of the Witcher 3

Triss romance is ''reflected'' in your interaction with Triss. The whole world reacting to this makes no sense unless you're seriously suggesting Geralt tells every single person who assumes he's still with Yennefer that they're in fact not, and that he's now with Triss, which would be extremely...

The ''Waifuification'' of the Witcher 3

It seems like it, unfortunately. Maybe CDR will even change the lore and make it so Cerys' father told her that it was prophecized that Geralt of Rivia would abandon Yennefer of Vengerberg, the love of his life, in favour of a complete unknown? Remains to be seen, money makes most things possible.

Yes, I have heard of tweaking dialogue, and tweaking dialogue does not include paying money to a voice actor to record additional dialogue lines, which you are suggesting.
