Who thought this trend was a good idea?

Really not a big fan of these effects either. The rain effect and the dirty lens in sunlight actualy breaks the imersion for me. obscures the beutiful graphics. To those who like it cheers. But why devs choose to force this down pc gamers throats is beyond me. Its not hard to make post fx...

Music not playing after 1.05 patch

Music played at start but after a bit it stoped. Seems the music no longer loops? Has a timer before it starts up again? I remember a reviewer complaining about tthe music playing too often. I like the music playing nonstop. Hope this wasnt intentional. So i just teleported and music started...

    [PC] Cutscene FPS drop

Patch 1.05 fixed the low fps stuttering for me. Pre rendered cutscenes now play at 60,fps. Soooo much better:). Thank you cdpr!:) Hope it fixes the prob for everyone. Keep in mind i applied the ini tweaks mentioned early in thread. The patch seems to make changes i make to ini work now. Oops...

    Beard/Hair pop-in during cutscenes

I have the same issue. Most noticable is geralts beard like others have mentioned. Doesnt happen every cutscene but it happens more often then id like. I have a i7 3820 oced to 4.2 ghz. Cpu is only being used by the game. So what cpu do you have and at what oc? I did not have this kind of pop...

Some of the changes coming in the next patch (1.04/1.05)

For pc please consider increasing font size more than slightly. And no I am not saying force huge font on everyone. Pc users should have options. If you play on a small monitor you should have the option for tiny font. If on a big screen hdtv you should not hafto walk across the room and stand...

Texture pop-in on Ultra is bad since 1.04?[PC]

In the patch notes they said they improved performance. Making the lod more aggressive is how they achieved this. For people with lower spec pcs this helped their performance. Unfortunatly anyone with a decent pc or people who don't mind lower framerate if it means no ugly imersion breaking...

Serious and terrible pop in on ps4 and xbox one after patch 1.03

Pc version has awful texture pop in as well. Introduced with 1.04 I believe. They made lod more aggressive. That's fine for those who needed the performance jump. But for others with decent(not top of the line, just decent) pcs this was a slap in the face. No option to decrease or increase lod...

Any update on the NPC popping yet? (dev reply wanted )

Did you notice they are improving performance in patch 1.05. So more then likely this will translate to even worse texture pop in. Cdpr idea of optimization is forcing shorter draw distance on everyone. More agressive lod. Heaven forbid they give us an option to increase or decrease draw...

Some of the changes coming in the next patch (1.04/1.05)

General stability and performance improvements. Better performance in certain cutscenes. Oh great... so what graphical downgrades are going to be shoved down pc gamers throats this time? Even worse shity draw distance? More texture pop in?Npcs spawn a half meter away instead of a whole meter...

    [PC] Cutscene FPS drop

Wait so now they are claiming it is meant to be 20-24 fps for a cinematic effect? Then for starters why are some people able to change an ini option and get higher framerate? Are they claiming they are all liars? Why is that the fix cdpr offered if the game is supposed to be at 20-24 fps? Also...

    [PC] Cutscene FPS drop

Patch didn't fix it for me either. Ini tweaks do not change a thing. All other sugestions in this thread do not change a thing. Why did you hafto use pre rendered cutscene anyways? Sigh.... I'm glad to hear it's not just nvidia. If it was a pure driver issue we would be lucky to get a fix...

    [PC] Cutscene FPS drop

I have the same issue. Game plays great and regular cutscenes play fine (ciri jumping on posts, geralt taking a bath, scaring off Griffin). But anything pre rendered like opening cutscene, title screen, ciri cuting head off dummy, plays at 20-23 fps. None of the ini fixes work for me. It really...
