Tommy, I would like to know whether it's possible for me to get save file from someone else who finished this quest, then unpack the save, get the quest file and replace mine ? or can I do something to advance the quest using djinni ?

Yes Alvin in Triss' house and I can talk to him. Having read into the quest, I denied anything he asked. still after or before I denied him, Triss still doesn't mention about the kid. Funny thing is when I meet Triss in the inn, there is "about the boy", and she tells me not to talk there and go...
