A 2018 release feels kind of impossible somehow. I suppose they could go guns out at E3 and go for an end of the year release date, but spring 2019 feels more likely.

I hate to see it go, but it probably is for the best. An amazing series concluded with an amazing third gme and even better expansions, a fitting end imo.

Texture flickering since the new patch A rather annoying problem has surfaced for me with the newest patch and it is texture flickering. When walking I see bits of ground texture before me flicker and when up and close to those spots they seem strange, almost a bit pixely in nature. I did not...

Do you mean that the ground seems a tad glitchy? If so, same here.

Like others have said, wait a few more weeks, this game needs some patch time.

42 hours in and still exploring in Velen because of how amazing it looks and how much content there is. The game could stand to have a few more types of activities, but otherwise very impressive.

Same here, also very impressed, though I would not say masterpiece yet, it badly needs some patches to fix things up.

Honestly, as unoptimized as the game seems, it is the temperature that is rather alarming. It makes my otherwise very cool 980 reach 80 as a max and from what I have read many others reach the same temp or higher.
