For me checking for errors (some were found) and reinstalling from scratch (3.1 GB for the cartridge version) fixes the Problems. Looks like the 3.4 Update corrupts some data when patching from previous Version. Am using the European german Version btw.

Had the same problem a few days ago. Crashes, green menu bg. and also cut off maps. It looks like the new Update corupts some files. When checking it shows some error. Reinstalling the data after from scratch will fix the problem for me (hadnt any problem in the last days)

German Version has no Censorship too. May you should specify your Post.
