I've gotta confess: I don't actually understand why it's so hard. It doesn't seem outlandishly difficult to add completely rebindable keys as well as context sensitive key mapping, especially so since that's working per default with a controller.

To be honest, I'm still doing better with M/KB than with my 360 controller on PC. Might be my fault, but I don't feel like the controls are that great generally speaking.

It is the same building, those are screenshots from footage where you can see (in both cases) how Geralt walks into the same building. I agree the room as been redesigned too, however the lightning differences are pretty obvious.

That's actually the easiest thing to change I'd say, since everything is right there, just not rendered from far-away. E.g. in Witcher 2 you could simply change it in the .ini files. However, it's probably going to hit performance very badly.

It's probably better to expect that and be positively surprised. It's not like you have to pre-order the game or never play it at all. I'm keeping my pre-order because I still believe it's great, but I'm not expecting anything better than what I've seen today. :)

Dude, seriously. Would you guys stop claiming things like that? We have well-known PC gaming magazines and journalists saying they received their PC versions (Gamestar, PCGames), even going so far as to show the game version in the menu (1.02, same as PS4 after their patch).

Well, there's always PC exclusive features: FPS & resolution! To be honest I don't see why the PCGH comparison had to be taken down. It looks exactly like the footage we're seeing with the day 1 patch applied.
