I would say that a potential solution could be that the player experiences one conversation which is triggered at a certain point during the story arc then never repeated again. An example could be that the first of 5 conversations would be triggered at the prologue when you first experience...

In a perfect world with infinite resources and the game polished in every other way, I could see a huge number of conversations which are marked off never to be heard again once the player has activated them… which I think is what you are suggesting. This won’t happen in the real world though...

The issue with that is that you could end up with Elder Scrolls style conversations which, although were random, were known for being completely non-sensical and meaningless. Around 3 small conversations which could rotate is doable and makes the game less immersion shattering.

There should be 2-3 separate conversations repeated for characters that you pass often such as the police in Building 10. That would help with immersion.

I’d like to thank CDPR and congratulate them for bringing out patch 1.5 which appears to have fixed the majority of problems. I am thoroughly enjoying my next-gen playthrough on the PS5 so far!

It took me around 65 hours to complete the game without doing the “trash quests”. I have done this twice, once on the PC and once on the PS4. I will probably do the same again once the next-gen patch is out on the PS5.

I’ve completed CP2077 on my laptop and PS4 which was back in ‘20 and early ‘21. No game has quite compared since so I am looking forward to playing it again on my PS5 once the “next-gen” patch is released.

I would suggest you leave that quest until you’ve cleared the majority your side-quests as the ceremony is fairly close to the end of the game. You are like 7.5/10 towards the end of the main campaign.

There will not be a canon ending as CDPR would have to definitively state whether or not V is M or F and pick one of the outcomes. I reckon any CP2077 sequel will involve completely different characters and could be set before or well after the events of this game.
