    Yes they should be lined up perfectly side by side and on the same Z axis. Like I did with my water, it lines up perfectly and looks good.

    Then your meshes are clipping into each other and you need to offset them a bit more.

    If you want the water to run along a hill (any place where there will be height difference) or something you're gonna have to import a custom mesh. I've been thinking about creating a tutorial for such a thing for some time now.

    He just imports it back, the .xbm is just a "compressed" format. Whenever you import a texture it gets compressed according to the settings in the "textureGroup" that you choose when you import it.

    Or instead of doing all that nonsense. He could double click on the texture he wants so it's loaded, close it and then right click it and just choose "Export Asset" and export as a .dds. But that's just how I would do it.

    You should really rotate those rock cliff meshes, or use another variation the repetition is really obvious.
