In Witcher 3 when the game ended Dandelion, Ciri, Yen, EVERYONE disappeared. Their characters just left the game. At the end of the Blood and Wine DLC a single one of them comes back depending on your decisions -- and you can't really interact with them outside of like 4 repeatable dialogue...
