Yep, Lyrian Scytheman can reach silly values for a 4p card. It does require setup but it's not that hard for NRs to achieve this with the Uprising leader ability.

I thought the guy with McBeard was excellent, as was Shinmiri with his analysis. The rest definitely looked and spoke like they'd had better Gwent days. :)

He requires more setup and specialisation than Gord. Take him out and his expensive spells are just that - expensive and very RNGish. One thing maybe to try with him is Decoy, to refresh a Regis or other low roll value card.

This is quite good evidence to suggest a bit of a problem. If it can do relatively little to some decks, yet completely 'lockdown' others, then perhaps it is a little too binary.
