    You dont keep them. You get new verison of this items, when returning to the save before. But its not the same item.

    It was just to explain the mechnanic to the mod slots. The items are always MAX SLOT. CDPR just has to get rid of this Me-Thrill thing, which makes no sense in a single player game..     Well, no one knows the reason behind this bug. We only know, it was not the green-ping from the quest.. Thats probably also the reasons it didnt get fix in 1.10 or 1.11, as CDPR has to find the root problem of that cause.

    I never gotten any answer.. :/ But my report was, that the Gift case is the problem.. I already reported it at the beginning of January, where most thought it was because of the "green ping" from the quest.

    What you forgot: This unknown item isnt something new. The game kinda always worked like that. This Unknown mod gives +7armor, but REMOVES the mod-slot ingame. Thats why the armor value was higher, if it had lesser open mod slots. But thats not new with 1.1

    Yeah, but we want the legendary ones for their passive effects ;) And without having 20 INT, this was the only way to get legendary ones: hacking. Well, you can get legendary system-reset from a quest.

    Ah yeah.. Thats what I also have seen before patch 1.1 with save-scumming. The more slots an item had, the lower the armor value was. So maybe this +7 armor mod (Me-thrill) was a thing before patch 1.1. So that mechanic isnt new, but the save-scumming is just disabled. But we still dont know...
