I did the event as normal and I picked up the evidence but it won't mark as "complete" (so to speak). I reloaded a previous save and even tried leaving the area and coming back but I can't interact with the body anymore. I read the shard that I looted from the body just in case it was that but...

I'm at the section where you have to take out the motorcyclists after Takemura gives you the airhypo but when V leans out of the car, there's no gun and the guys on the bikes start glitching. No matter what I do, I die anyway. I've closed the game and restarted and I've deleted my save game too...
