1.2 What do you want to see in that Patch?

+
Most important fixes for me that must be in the next patch are.

Fix that weird rare bug when sometimes enemy,s roach and gerald itself become cripple always on duck mode and is off the ground a bit, looks stupid as hell, like a spooky dwarf.

Fix for out of order new heart of stone general skills are misplaced in my game on newgame + it says 15/15 of skills in general skills but i see a total of 20 skills the other 5 are invisible, but when i hover over them with my mouse i can read them inscriptions, what they are and what they do.

Fix for the fight against Caranthir with Ciri he just stand there frozen in time lol, this is the second that this happend to me this problem was also in patch 1.08, u can still kill him, but there is no challenge in it.

Fix the rune bug every time u put those new runes into your swords [like hp regen] they dissappear when u exit the game and load it up again.

Fix missing crystal in tower for wolven armor.

Fix roach no mane bug and wrong color black instead of brown.

Fix the random sign bug that when u use igni or quen sometimes u dont see them effects.

Fix for the Viper Venomious Silver Sword, in new-game+ because its stated as lvl 38 or 39.

And what wubim sayed about slots and skills add just 2 more tree,s in to put skills in, many skills are useless now, and also make general skills not slot-able, like those suposed to be.

I did not encounterd any quest bugs i think there are big differences between the steam version and the gog version, glad i have the steam version, gog version is even more glitchy game lol.

Please unlock the strange sort order (flash hardcoded) in quest journal/Craftingmenu for mods!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've tried to mod the quest journal for a new sort order.
No chance!
My code runs, but, damn it, the assorted flash array is jumbled by Flash-ActionScript.

I have a suggestion for the next patch:
Adds just an additional flag in the Flash array.
Maybe so:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Class variable:
class CR4JournalQuestMenu extends CR4ListBaseMenu
{
var bListIsSortedFromMod : bool;
default bListIsSortedFromMod = false;

in private function generateFlashObjectForQuest():
l_questsDataFlashObject.SetMemberFlashBool( "isSortedFromMod", bListIsSortedFromMod);
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This flag could ActionScript from Flash to clear the Order in the GUI and
take over the entire flash array sorted by the mod (PC-Version).

So that we can implement our own sort code as mod:
Sorting Options for Main/Side/monsterhunting/treasure quest sections:
"Order by Quest-Area -> Quest Title" (Standard)
"Order by Quest-Area -> Level -> Quest Title"
"Order by Level -> Quest-Area -> Quest Title"
"Order by Level -> Quest Title"
"Order by Quest Title"

and most important:
Sorting Options for completed/failed quest sections:
(with inserted "quest type: " in first position of area-line string)
"Order by Quest-Type -> Quest-Area -> Quest Title" (Standard)
"Order by Quest-Type -> Quest Title"
"Order by Quest-Area -> Quest-Type -> Quest Title"
"Order by Quest-Area -> Quest Title"
"Order by Quest Title"

And in Craftingmenu:
"Order by Type (Body, legs etc.) -> Item name" (Standard)
"Order by Type (Body, legs etc.) -> Level -> Item name"

I will offer these sorting options in the game menu,

Best Regards
JC

i think 18 slots is way too overkill.. geralt is already too OP. what i think they should do is make the game harder on higher difficulties
* enemies stats scale base on geralt's lvl like way more hp and atk dmg but no need to scale their lvl or increase exp gain
* signs should have charges like quen only 3 charges in a fight i mean geralt is a freaking witcher not mage!!!
* human enemies should be able to dodge and not just block
* nerf bleeding and poison effects
* nerf skills like whirl
* nerf witcher gears
if they could add this to deathmarch difficulty or add a new difficulty.. maybe then they could add 18 slots.

Please stop asking for nerfing! You want to turn CDPR into a stupid Bioware???

*snip*
I hope you like that little Wish List and get inspired by it CDPR, so that some stuff of it actualyl finds its way into the next patch, however it will be called in the end, if now 1.2 or 1.11 and forward (lol)

What a load of rubbish. Sorry, nothing personal, but you want CDPR to change the whole game. Let them fix what needs to be fixed and it's critical. Gameplay and mechanics such you suggested, find it through mods and don't try to impose them to everybody else.

Quoting myself from another thread:

That same stuff again? Get mods, don't try to change the whole game for those who love it the way it is. I'm pretty sure that Devs decision regarding gameplay and mechanics are based in a group of talented people finding the best way to implement the best ideas. One person only ideas are quite personal and gladly, such person can find what they want via mods without ruining the game for others.
--------------
What I expect from 1.12
-I love the looks of Viper Armor Set. It's Kaer Morhen armor perfected and that was already one of the best looking armor in the game. I hope they don't change it one bit.
-Do not integrate user mods into the game. Let those who want it to use it as they should be used. As mods.
-Fix Frame Rate issues in The Bits and the Sewers bellow it
-Fix the Armor Enchantments bug/exploit which can happen even unintentionally without players realizing it and not knowing how to revert it. (assuming that the vast majority of players do not come to the forums where player's solution for such bug has been posted.)
-Fix whatever quests are still not working as designed after 1.11 although I completed my latest run today in NG without one single issue. All quests completed OK. Just started a NG+ and I'm pretty confident that I won't find any issues there as well. (GOG Galaxy + physical disks version)
-Do not "nerf" anything. If there are balance issues fix them, although I personally haven't seen any in latest playthroughs (1363 hours playing the game so far)
-Put the Scabbards back on those NPCs that used to have them, please. Bioware, Piranha Bytes, Obsidian, Bethesda, always had us carrying the swords hanging in our backs against any law of physics. CDPR has done what those others said it was impossible to do because of "clipping" and other excuses. Don't drop the ball now!

What in my post is about imposing something? i believe the post clearly starts with:

"Personal gameplay and immersion preferences that could be addressed via Mods(but preferably officially, maybe as a gameplay option similar to Fallout New Vegas Hardcore Mode?!)"

NO?

What's really this game needs, it's a multiplayer mode. Sooner or later. Probably after Blood and Wine would be good.

I don't understand popular opinion on this forum that multiplayer is feature of bad games like Call of Duty or other.

If game is based on story it doesn't mean that multiplayer won't good for such game. As well Witcher 3 has a strong combat system.

So Multiplayer may consist something more interesting than just combat 1vs1.

Just imagine, for example Fort mode. A group of 8 players (or even 16) defend some place on the map and play as a bandits who don't have magic and strong armor, and need use logic for win against group of 2-4 witchers. Epic.
:threaten:
I just remember that place in game - Devil's Pit where I dealed with a big group of bandits. That inspired me.

Below my main thoughts for developers:

- Multiplayer doesn't need much programming. CDProject just need hire a group especially for implement this option. Of course it will be cost much money, but I ready to buy If it cost like new DLC and even more. Thus it will cover all expenses.
- People will be motivated to extra playing for enhancing level. And as a result higher ladder position with stronger players.
- Games with multiplayer still alive even if this games was release 15 years ago.
- The problem with most multiplayer games it's an e-sport games where each second enemy crazy pro-gamer who can't be beated if you don't play too much. There's really lack of good multiplayer non-esport games with soft interesting gameplay.
- I don't see any reasons for not implementing multiplayer, except that fact if this won't interfere with developing new expansion. DLC it's a second stage. Multiplayer should be third.

I wanna play with real people. Life is too short for playing too long with stupid computer AI. Of course this game worth finish several times. I appreciate other localization, but what next? What if you reach 100 level, playing NG++++++++++++? :D

And finally the day has come where I could find a graphic glitch in the best game ever.
One of the most rare things in Witcher 3 1.10.

The upper room in Dandylions cabaret house, where Avallach and Geralt are planning the "Through Time and Space" quest and where Avallachs drawings of Ciri are lying at the side of the bed on the floor, has a working balcony door and an intact window frame.

When you enter this room again after finishing the "Through Time and Space" quest, the balcony door of this room is now always open and the window frame from the window right next to the bed is missing and no longer there.
This is very sad because Geralt is using this as player house, as a good friend of Dandylion he can use this room for living and sleeping and spending his free time without any rent, even pets are allowed (for example the talking cat) and therefore the balcony door of this room should be closable and the window needs it`s frame back. Otherwise Geralt might freeze and get a flu or evil monster can come in at night or the cat might go astray....

Here is a screenshot of this room, sorry it`s from a Youtube Video my Geralt would NEVER wear such cheap-colored things like on this pure blasphemy upper Youtube screenshot, he wears awesome black armor and black velvet stuff only and the upper screenshot is not my gameplay and only to show the graphic glitch:

edit: Can you see how lovely and with how much attention to details the best game ever made is changing the graphic in the cities and the interior after every patch?
Notice the new picture above the bed and the wooden panel-work behind the bed :)
I´m curios how much beautyful things will change to even more beautyful things after installing the 1.11 patch (all the mods I need will be updated shortly).

Impressive how DIFFERENT and how much more beautyful the overall graphics in the cities the rooms the nature in Witcher 3 is looking now when watching old Youtube Videos from May 2015 where people were playing version 1.0!
Witcher is not only the best game ever, it has the best patches ever enhancing the game graphics more and more!!
What other game does that?
NONE!
(Ok they have nerfed down Geralts magic power in every patch - whatever, using some small Igni and Yrden mods solve this problem *ggg)

I want to see support for 21:9 monitors in cinematics. That means no black bars. It really breaks immersion for me. There has been some unofficial exe applications that fixes this problem, but with every your new patch it breaks and I am really tired of searchig for this unofficial fix every time. I am not only one how wants this matter resolved. So far this game is my favourite, Its nearly masterpiece, it only misses this little fix, please dont let me down.

For the next patch, only thing I've had a problem with is the HUD toggle not working during dialogue cutscenes and the radial menu being disabled when the HUD is off. Why is that? Loot windows aren't. There's no benefit to disabling the radial menu, it just makes HUDless combat less feasible. In any case, HUD toggle is immensely appreciated, just needs those quick fixes, so thanks for that. :)

I'd also like to suggest -- and this may prove too hard for 1.2, but hey, should still be dealt with at some point -- improvements to animation fluidity, especially with ragdoll physics. It detracts considerably from the otherwise beautiful visuals. Fluidity is great during dialogue cutscenes, which have the best conversation animations I've ever seen, but in general gameplay Geralt can't vault over a fence in a way that looks right. The end of the vault animation transitions poorly to whichever one comes next.

But ragdoll physics are the true problem. Too stiff in humans. They can't even rest their heads on the ground when they fall on their back. They don't bounce even slightly, have no sense of weight. Joints also too flexible. Walk over them and you can easily make their legs open to a 180 degree angle. Monsters have an additional problem: they don't transition into ragdoll well. Look at a Nekker. You kill it, it goes into its final breath death animation with their hand weakly raised, then it jerks into ragdoll so violently it ends up a foot away from where it originally was.

I realize this may be a deeply-rooted engine problem, but it's still a problem that makes the game not look as good in motion as it does still, so I think it's very worth addressing.
