1.3 BUGS: Fleeing NPCs disappear instantly and Last shot in certain guns have no recoil

Just a couple of bugs I've noticed after playing 1.3.

Most importantly would be the NPC problem. It's great that they now flee appropriately when shot at - but they disappear instantly when you turn around for a split second. This is very much NOT immersive :)

The last round of certain guns (pistols certainly) don't have recoil when firing - for some reason, but it seems related to ADS. They do have recoil without ADS.

Strange.
 
the npc bug has been in the game since launch, and the pistol bug got introduced in patch 1.2 , with everything they fix, they break something else xD
 
In all fairness, that's common in large games like this. The bigger a game gets, the more cascading failures can happen with every adjustment. It's a problem that Bethesda has...a lot of experience with.
Along with any other studio for any game under the sun. It's just more prevalent in huge RPGs because there are so many more moving parts.
