I have no faith in CDPR whatsoever. Not anymore. I am keeping my expectations so low, they count in negatives now.
I expect the patch to drag the overall quality of the graphics even lower, with more pop-ins and worse LODs. All in order to increase stability, framerate and meet whatever metrics Sony demanded. It's all on Sony now and I doubt there is any "trust us" going on between Sony and CDPR anymore.
What is the easiest way to improve stability and performance? It's to lower the graphics. And that's what I'm expecting to see.
On that note, does CDPR even have any competent coders/programmers anymore? Are they all on vacations? I wouldn't be surprised. I bet everybody was working 16h a day, 7 days a week in order to meet the release date, and then they worked just as hard in order to get those previous patches out the door. And now it's only juniors playing with settings in some .ini file, as they are forbidden to touch anything. And there is some genuine testing going on, that's why it's taking so long. No huge patch-notes, no real improvements.
