1.35 update now wont load my saves

1.35 update now wont load my saves

After installing the latest patch i now get my proper resolution from the dropdown (2560x1440), but my saves don’t appear and the game main screen now shows the opening chapter tent city screen.
My saves are still where they always were;
D:\Users\username\Documents\Witcher 2\gamesaves
I get the feeling i need to tweak an .ini file somewhwere?
Any ideas?

sorted. privs issue. i added the "users" group to the saves folder and gave R/W access. all good now.

maybe i should have installed th epatch as amn admin.
