It says "You explore a forgotten village where you will discover a terrifying secret."

Oreton is the cursed island where you
have to lift the curse for Keira Metz

Thanks.

But I thought that was Fyke Isle.

After reading about the DLC I checked and Oreton should be this village:
http://thewitcher3.wiki.fextralife.com/Oreton

But it's not uninhabited, isn't that where
the ghost's (pesta) boyfriend lives? With the Nilfgaardian soldiers

And regardless, I wonder what this Hoterton city they mention in the promos is.

Yes, you're right, got those ones mixed up. But Oreton belongs (or used to belong) to Fyke Isle so I wasn't entirely wrong.

Strange, Oreton isn't deserted at all, but the article states it's about that village... Maybe they mixed something up, too, or it's just the place where you start the quest.

@HexerDa Look in the previous page of this thread, among the first posts there's Gamespot's description for the DLC which is different

Alright, makes sense now. But the German article really does say it's about Oreton.. oh well, never mind. Wonder what a spook is. Well, gonna find out

If I undestand it correctly, the contract is in Oteron, then the quest should be either set in another unnamed village plus this "Hoterton" city, or in Hoterton alone.

The forgotten village part makes no sense, unless they mean the city of Hoterton, or viceversa (it being a village not a city, which would make more sense).

Nevertheless we don't have a faint idea on where that is.

That's just it. Which one is correct? The one source says one thing, the other says this...

Well, I think it's sure to say that the quest will be obtainable in Oreton.
The German article says it will take place in a forgotten village, namely Oreton. But that doesn't make sense, that village isn't forgotten. The quest's gotta lead to another village

Maybe the German article mixeup up Oreton with the similar sounding Hoterton, which is the forgotten village/city.
There's a abandoned village directly east of Oterton, with a dog
with no master tiny quest, where it leads you to his house just to find his owner's corpse, then disappears and it ends there. Most houses are inaccessible.
But I don't think it's called Hoterton. Have to check. Google brings up nothing.

WTF! Why only one DLC? CDPR decide to break their own promise (about 2 dlc per week)...
....
Again.

Yup. Oh how my Paragon Shep wanted to be renegade and kick his Turian ass hehehe. Anyway that would be nice but I'd be very surprised. What id like in a dlc would be the bloody ice skating they cut.

Very cool. Apparently it nods to The Last Wish and has a bit of Geralt history. I'm down for anything Geralt.

This is really a bad news as witcher lovers are already in pain due to bugs & 1.07 patch wait & now this. I too thought that we going to get 1.07 patch along with all dlc's till or on 7.7.15 but nope its not going to happen now :(
