2.3 The Beast in Me: The Big Race is bugged

Trying to do The Beast in Me: The Big Race quest to unlock the new vehicles, but i cannot complete it no matter what i try. I tried reloading older saves, my GPU drivers are updated, i tried with Claire's car, my own car, no matter what i try it cannot be completed. About 1 min into the race the road just disappears under me and stops rendering. After that the car suddenly stops and the game freezes to the point i have to force shutdown. If i go into menu the cyberpunk logo never shows up and i cannot click anything in it. No mods installed fresh game.
Any ideas what could be causing this?

A bug, most likely.

If you can get it to happen reliably, list the steps to recreate it and send a CDPR Support ticket along with a saved game at that point, if possible.
