+2 power for gold cards
Either search isn't working or I'm not searching for the right words. Why the hell does Geralt sometimes jump to 14 from 12 base as a gold card, or Brinn jump to a 11 from a 9 (frustrating since she's disloyal) or Ciri get +2. There is no explanation in the cards descriptions. I cannot figure this mechanic out.
