CDPR please watch this thread and don't dismiss any opinion!

First of all, I have to say that in the beginning I felt kinda let down when I saw the 14-minute footage, but after days of analyzing the video itself, listen to your podcasts, and other news about Cyberpunk 2077, I thought I felt ready to post this and let my thoughts be read and see if others can agree with some of them or not and that being said:
1-. I'm aware of the Character Creator system you showed is scaled down, as for the graphics (not downgraded perse) inside the game and that you will implement a vast variety of options into it. Please, let it be vast with everything because it really scared me when I saw the gameplay and realized, there were only 3 surface wiring options, only 7 eye colors, not enough hairstyles, scars, tattoos and light tattoos, etc (kinda sneaky move from you guys but I can understand not to overhype something). Just don't narrow down our options please and as we don't know the full extent of the CC system, let me say that it would make an awesome mechanic that what you showed in the "Deep Dive" gameplay is the beginning and all other CC features (Loads more options) are unlocked when we earn Street Cred or something like that.
2-. The whole article about "Removing" male or female entirely was a bad PR decision on your part since that is not completely true.
For all who thought that was the case, rest easy because we will still be referred to as He/She or neutral (V as a pronoun) if we do so choose.
In short, stop using these types of PR moves which will not have a positive outcome.
3-. I noticed that if you shoot a bullet or hit with a nano-wire, or even strike with the blades, there are not a mark of said hit/shot on any of the NPCs and was wondering if you could implement that in the game. It would be awesome if the skin of the NPCs reacts to those types of interactions coming from us.
4-. Have you considered how long will the bodies/body parts or corpses stay on the ground after we killed or knocked them down? Will they stay on the floor for days, forever? Or is it going to depend on a certain part of the city we're in?
5-. I respect your decision of making Cyberpunk 2077 almost full FPP, but some cut-scenes here and there couldn't hurt your creative and artistic decision now could it?
6-. Please make a smart AI for everyone involved, because from what I saw is kinda lacking. Even the non-hostile NPCs didn't react to the shooting in the streets nor the reckless driving. The enemies reaction doesn't look too realistic. If we attack a hostile NPC, the ones with him/her should react at once and attack accordingly, not waiting a turn to attack us.

PS: I guess that I can say that for the vast majority, we appreciate you're making Cyberpunk 2077 and please hear our feedback.
PS2: I already pre-ordered it, which is a huge deal for me and for most gamers since every other Developer Company out there uses awful and predatory practices to dry the gamer for more money when the game isn't worth the effort, but you have been the antithesis of that. Please don't change, but also don't get cocky.

I liked the gameplay demo, but there's just one thing that kind of pisses me off, and that is the fact that the red dot can still be seen when you're not aiming your gun. In most other FPS games and even in real life, you don't see the red dot if your gun is at an angle, however, in the deep dive this does not seem to be the case.

I know this is something very little, but this ruins the immersion for me and eliminates any realism.

Also I want to know if we would be able to change our reticle and its colour. In fact, would we be able to change the UI colour as well? Something like Elite Dangerous or Fallout 4, where we edit the .ini files and change the colour values from there.

I'm pretty sure i saw them say on a twitter reply that you cant change the colour of the UI when someone asked.

But modding it using the ini files or something like that who knows.

I don't know up to what extent we'll be able to customize our UI, but what I know from CDPR is that we will be able to take some aspects of the HUD off and even we will be able to turn the full HUD off.

I remembered another thing: Please, make the outfits variations be more extensive than what was shown? IK it was some kind of a place holder, but not having a trenchcoat with light outlining the edges and some leather pants with high-combat boots and a bulletproof vest as a shirt is a travesty to all Cyberpunk genre! LOL
Also, mohawks are not the only cyberpunk hairstyles!

What is this based from? They have managed to keep the pre-orders coming from what Ive seen, if anything it had positive outcome.

Please bring the Character Creation and Customization back up to snuff. If CDPR want all the immersion they can muster (and given how they can't stop saying that word, I'm guessing they do) then go all out on character creation. Should be easier if you're going 100% first person now...

Also for the next Deep Dive video (if there's going to be one), could we see a more alluring and inviting side of Night City? I'd like to see a different side of the city.

Because it is a very slippery slope they're taking and a very risky one at that. It had a positive outcome because that in itself gave them free PR and also because there are many of us who still believe in CDPR, who will engage in every debate there is defending them. I'm not saying they need defending because their actions speak for themselves, but I will take that task if necessary. I still hold my pre-order by the way and when Cyberpunk launches on April 2020, I will be there waiting to enter Night City.
PS: Not every PR stunt is a good one and sometimes it may backfire if they're not careful mate.

I think Cyberpunk is no-gender game, it isnt typical Im Women, You are Man. Or Im Mr Stud, who bang all girls, type of game. At least Im getting Unisex vibe from Cyberpunk.

I really liked how all the NPCs - including non story relevant ones - were so unique. In most games, the non-essential NPCs have a few faces and a few clothing variations - but i couldn't find such repetitions so far! And like Garrison72 already said, animations are excellent!

Also, all the graffiti, advertisements, posters and run down buildings make the world feel so real and lived in. Esp. like how they defaced "GRAND IMPERIAL MALL" by turing off the electricity for certain letters

Actually, in real fight, most combatants DO NOTHING. Even if they do, if they are not seasoned soldiers (firefight) fighters (brawl), they are slow to react and they react poorly and far between.

Cool Cyber Bruce :)

Yes, the stylistic design of both the environment and the characters is excellent. There is a great deal of variety in the NPCs. That I must applaud.

There are some graphical issues that bother me; such as inconsistent shadows, characters and objects hovering 5 cm above the ground making them look tacked-on, but I guess this the kind of work in progress I can understand. Its likely to look much better once its finished.

The animations were ok for the most part. It bothered me a little how the enemies seemed to just run out in the open to be mowed down by V's portable machine gun, showing extremely weak combat skills..

Thats not really about animation though, thats more enemy tactics & difficulty. Difficulty in gameplay demos is often very low on purpose, using a very strong main character, sometimes even in semigod-mode, to avoid the game over screen (e.g. in the fight with Sasquatch health jumps from 63% to 88% between two frames at 9:42 and damage from hits is very minimal in general). More about showing off cool kills than player vulnerability (e.g. 2014 witcher 3 gameplay demo: direct hit from royal griffin, no quen: less than 5% health lost!). Also, i heard from people watching the full demo played live that running up tactics actually work for the Animal members, since they are able to use a reflex booster to close the distance (described as a fast, almost teleport-like dash). Combine that with non-story dififculty level and the Animal gangs focus on strength+melee, and it might actually be not such a bad idea.

Imo enemies are animated well when (maybe stupidly) running out in the open, and the bullet impact animations also work better than in last years demo: getting hit in the left shoulder causes push force on that area, triggers compensation staggering movement etc. But i was thinking more about the NPCs hanging around in the world and doing their stuff. E.g. in other games there is one sit animation and sittable objects defined. Here the NPCs seem to have variable ways to hang out, like the guitar player slouching on the couch...

Enemy reacting better to getting hit was the first thing that i noticed too, i just hope that enemies are a bit quicker to react to V's presence on max difficulty.

My number one worry still remains though, it's the vehicle animations and physics. I really hope that they nail this one since i love their design and it would be a shame if they are not fun to ride. I really get attached to vehicles in video games like some characters from cliche racing movies

About combat animations i still hold the same opinion as i did with the last demo, in some cases it looks really good and in other it looks really bad. For example in the last demo the auto-pistol and the shotgun looked great for the most part, and in this demo the LMG (the one that V was using against Sasquatch) and the revolver looked really good, that one militech smg was ok but the shotgun and throwing knives looked really bad.

A lot of these are def because it's a work in progress and i hope they nail everything that i mentioned.

This looks like a good spot... My feed back and OPINION is about ... sex and romance/relationship. Let's start with how I just wrote that, because that's how it should be handled there is sex... one night stands and then there should be romance/relationships. You have not shown much in the way of either, I do remember the 1 clip of female V and a some dude early morning getting out of bed. But not much more, I do remember a write-up, I don't know if it was official or someone's opinion, that there would be one night stands and you could have romance/relationships. Please tell/show More!
The sex scenes... ok I understand your a gaming studio not a porn company... all good... do it this way... have your R rated third person sex scenes. Go to the edge but don't cross that line... But then SUPPORT MODS, let others do the "dirty" work. Look at Skyrim, the sex and nudes, and clothing.. all is treated like that aunt nobody talks about at Christmas, you know her and hr "Boy friends". There are web sites dedicated to just making the "SEX" side of video games..LL. Embrace that, hell feed that, make your body type easy to work with, make an animation tutorial, get the modding community evolved SOON. They don't tear down your game they add to it... right now Skyrim has over 61 thousand mods.
You say this is an adult game, I understand market share and demographics and age groups and I have a limited understand of other countries laws and all. So take a que from a game that worked well and extended it's life greatly ... wait 3 months after launch (3 months so we can play the game as you wanted it play..I totally get that.) then release a Creation Kit or an SDK.
Now I am not here just to push for more sex... Relationships... that could and should be one of the driving forces in you game... yea it's great to get the cyber enhanced hand with an automatic can opener, or a new eye that can see through walls... but what is it all for, more money, more enhancements ? There should be another reason to live and fight and gain... if you expect us to live the game, not just play the game.. give us a fully thought-out reason not just a side quest.

IRL there are people that live just to get the newest and best car, or biggest house (newest enhancement) but there are many more that do it for love or at least sex... what I am saying is Cyberpunk 2077 do you want me to play it to finish the game, whatever the end point is, kill the corporate office, find Johnny's daddy, nuke NS (again) fine I'll go though the game just like every other game, open world or not and get to the end and win. And then start looking for another game to buy. But if you want me to live the game... no not sim life... but live/escape to your world give me a reason.

I have never played the PnP game of cyberpunk, but I did AD&D, lived it for 8 years, there was no end point... As long as I could dream up another quest and make another city or castle or Cave and stock it, they would live to play another day... well at least until we all had to get jobs or go to college, but the game, the game lived on.
I am excited about CP 2077, I have over 5000 hours of play time in Skyrim and Skyrim SE, I talked 3 of my friends into buying Skyrim...Just by describing the world and the characters and the lighting and the action. Please give me a new game I can waste 5000 hours of my life and have fun doing it.

Hey,
to keep it simple:

- I didn't like how inventory and skills UI look. Kinda soft brown, white borders and some stuff...Items are colourful, hard on the eye and visually don't fit the cells nor the UI...At least for me.

- I liked the hacking minigame or whatever was that. Fitting the values in rows and columns. Though I have no idea, how does it work, it looked kinda nice :)

- Kinda getting scared that only hacking in combat is done via that glowing nano-whip. Looks interesting and all that, though kinda repetitive. It could be nice to have something more... :)

These are somewhat just details, though.
The gameplay looked interesting and evolving heavily based on players actions :)

In regards to the OP asking about fallen enemies, I'm a touch on the hungover side but there is a specific game that isn't coming to mind right now where if you leave fallen enemies just lying about, other enemy NPCs will actually come and move their fallen brethern. Hopefully in regards to the gangs in 2077 something similar will occur. Unless of course you kill them all.

Cool Cyber Bruce :)

But still, the AI seemed a little lackluster. What supposed gang member jumps in the open when shooting begins? If there's a brawl, I understand not everyone jumping in, but when V starts shooting, they all seemed like attracted to the bullets.

Someone at YT told me it would create a framing issue if there are hundreds of enemies lying around when there's so much going on in the background. But it would really suck in this day an age that knocked down/killed NPCs just disappear after a few minutes. For example in small places like in The Imperial Mall, I don't see the issue of letting the NPCs laying on the ground. If you knocked down an enemy, the body doesn't need to be removed, like on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, where the enemies stayed on the ground for almost the entirety of the mission or playthrough. I remember in one of the missions where there was a curfew, i spent almost 2 hours or maybe more in the mission and the bodies were still there, save 1 or 2 that were woken up by the other NPCs

1.The npc mouth dont move when you try to talk to them. Sometimes they say nothing at all. 2.When you honk the horn in the car you hear the honking but there is no animation for it. 3. If you character nude and look in the mirror he has shorts on even tho nude is enabled. 4. If you try to break a car window with a bat the window does not break but some how you can hit the npc in the car. 5. The Ai is not smart if you hit them they crouch down and hold their head. When I was hitting the car with a bat they just sat there. 6. The police are verrrryyy easy to get away from 7. They said the wanted you to have a first person experience but you can't do something as simple as looking behind you. 8. So many npc you can interact with. Some people where selling stuff and you can't buy from them or speak to them. 9.car has no weight to it. I was able to move a big car with a little motorcycle. 10. Hard to fall off motorcycle even after big collision. 11. rag doll effects is off. You shoot some one in the leg they dont react to certain parts of the body oh and when you push a character they don't react the crouch covering their head if you continue to push them blood is shooting out their head. 12. saw 5 of the same npc in one area 13. No animation flushing toilet you see the toilet flush by itself. See my thing is you can't force people to play in first person and have stuff like this. 14. Changing station on radio tedious. 15. Your character doesn't really look like him/her self looking in mirror. 16. You cant sit down anywhere accept in your house or its part of story mode. 17. You can't do sneak attacks outside of story mode. Maybe red dead redemption or gta has spoiled me but thats standard or go above it when it comes to a first person experience. This game was not ready but it is what is it I hope patches fix this im crossing my fingers I told my friend the game has alot of potential and hopefully these things are patched
