Technically, all the Lou Bonnevie songs were for AD Police, they used the songs for promo music videos for BGC, but they don;t actually appear anywhere in the Crisis or Crash series, nor do the promo videos appear in any of the official Music video;s for Bubblegum Crisis....

Still, my favorite song of hers is What A Fool I Am... (from another bgc promo video)

My favorite of the actual BGC songs is either Say Yes!

Victory

or Bye Bye My Crisis

Of course you can't discuss BGC music without also discussing the music from the movie that directly inspired the sound for Bubblegum Crisis in the first place...... Can you name the movie this song is from?

Yep that's right. A lotta the songs in BGC borrow riffs from streets of fire. I always thought it was weird that one of my favorite animes was inspired by a movie with Rick Moranis and Willem Dafoe in it.

Close, Streets of fire with Diane lip-synching to Holly Sherwood and Fire Ic's performance...

Here is her other song from the film... again, sounding like it could have been in bubblegum crisis and no one would have noticed... if you watch the video, you will even see how similar Priss's moves are to Dian Lanes...

This is the original video for the song in my previous post... hell it's obvious that even the outfit Priss wears is directly modeled after this...

The one last really awesome tangentially connected music video I have is for a video game called Road Avenger, which not only shared the exact plot of BGC episode Revenge Road, but shared some of the sound effects as well... I fucking love this song...

The singers voice sounds remarkably similar to the vocalist from Hey Mr. Dandy, from Bubblegum crisis as well... though I have never been able to determine if they were the same people...

actually, Kenichi Sonada said that Streets of Fire was one of the inspirations for BGC and they heavily borrowed Lane's look for Priss

What about this classic song heard in the Tech Noir night club scene from Terminator:

Conjures up images of Cyberpunk for me.

Darin Darksmith, Night City Solo

Darin was in the Marines back in the day and was very good at charging pillboxes. He ended up getting a Psyche eval and got a section 8. Evidently Darin had survived so many situations with people shooting him he thought he was immortal. He lives in the Combat Zone now. Says it reminds him of the "good times' in SouAM... Great guy at a party though!

Haha, that's hilarious, and kind of insidious at the same time. Nice.

I think this version would be more appropriate.

He was an up and coming street dealer who spent as much of his time and money on the ladies as he did on working the Street Game.
