I was looking at this article:

I must say I am very impressed with EvE. I heavily dislike MMOs because of the grind mechanic, but I am tempted to jump in esp. if I can play casually.

Now how does this relate to CP2077?

Let's say you play a corporate in the freight/delivery business. Your company's job is to get stuff from point A to point B. Would it then be fair to use your knowledge of the routing problems to help you streamline the logistics of your company?

So should there be an API? Not only for modding but to help you understand and give you an edge to the game?
If so, what areas should it touch?

They already have a a mod tool, Red box or something like that.

Also the sort of API in the OP is not desirable in a single player game, dunno what peoples obsession with adding MMO aspects in is.
