It is quite unknown the impact of a forceful reimport in the bundles atm. It could screw things up permanently as just causing some little glitches and nothing more. The mod of KNG doesn't either pose the problem as ALL tables are forcefully reimported (since larger).

As far you can rollback, i don't see the problem . I thing Kng knew that something could get wrong, that's why he made the unistaller to reimport the original files back to place, if someone would experience some glitches. I'm using his mod, and so far didn't notice any issues..I wonder why i got an fps boost instead of an fps hit though Oo

Add in the user.settings under [Rendering ] AllowFog=0 EDIT:false not 0:p

actually-Where is your game instaled, /witcher3/bin/config/render ini,
change to false from true

Thanks.) About Lighting mod, uninstaller script wont help because if you overwrite file in bundle with bigger it will not place it there but write files data per byte from offset, and if its bigger(longer) it will replace next files bytes in bundle file, and writing old files byte data will not restore replaced bytes of the next file. So you never should replace files in bundle with bigger ones. Or keep a backup of a bundle file.

file damage cant be rolled back, so even uninstalling will not fix a broken situation, you have to re download the file with gog galaxy, or use a back up if you had one, it possible to remove some stuff and just load it tho, but who knows what that can cause if the game need a weather settings that has been removed

about the fps boost, its because the cut scene light env disable/lessen some effects compared to normal gameplay lighting since they are useless in a cutscene situation, so it might explain why some are experiencing fps boost

I've tried the mod and then reverted to vanilla. The game Is exactly the same before mod's installation

So far i cant say i enjoyed anything in the game except the aspect of the Bear Armor 3 - everything else, glitches, if it doesnt it looks like crap, everything pops up, dialogues are TERRIBLE and filled with subliminal sexual and stupid jokes, they are neverending and empty - you dont learn anything about the chars, or the game, or real life listening to those infinitly long stupid trash dialogues that 70% of the game IS ! it more chatter than gameplay !

Still waiting to play it...i think 2 months is not enough, maybe in 3-4 months i can start this game, play it, ENJOY IT at last, without any npc popping next to me, textures loading in cutscenes and so on !

hey essenthy i have fond a lot of .env realy interesting

env_nml_swamps_v1_a_ps4_flat24.env

env_novigrad_city.env

env_novigrad_sewers_filmic_v1.env

cutscen_definition_kaer_morhen.env

and a lot of other have not tested ...are u test thoses ? sewers its not supposed to be use in ext but with black clouds he look amazing

Of course it is, as the weather tables are reverted to the ones of vanilla. However the startup bundle is NOT reverted to the same state as before the installation. If there really was a problem of corrupting of the bundle on installing, uninstalling via the bat will NOT fix it (actually it will probably do even worse). The only solution in that instance is that you made a backup of the original startup.bundle (as I did; actually I simply used the mod on a copy of startup.bundle in the folder where I extracted the mod) or you revert it via GoG or Steam.

Just because you cannot really rollback there's a problem in case some corruption is present (it's too early to understand what forcing a table insertion with a larger size can do to the overall bundle). The "rollback" is simply a reinsertion of the vanilla weather tables in the bundle, but that's not the same thing as a real rollback of the bundle itself. Two separate things.

yes am aware of all of these, we're testing stuff me and Asmodean778, you shouldnt post this sutff here if you dont want KNG to steal everything tho :D

Nah, if you don't touch the graphics settings ingame, you can leave the user.settings, without the read only flag..I did like this and my other changes are all in the user.settings file,and since i add often values there, it's freaking annoying all the times to take off the read only flag and reput

i seen more files reimported when uninstalling the mod, not just the tables...i will check closely this when i come home

Since user.settings has priority over all the files, i think you can safely add them to the post process section in that file.
I personally did it, and modding in just one file is more confortable

You are not testing anything, this is a tweaking discussion. Tweaking is optional, over and above how CDRED released the game. These tweaks are not to fix anything, they are simply to alter things to peoples liking. Please stop complaining about this stuff here. If you don't like how the game is with no tweaks then tweak away but understand that you are not fixing anything, and you are not testing anything.
