you're right. sorry, i totally forgot about what essenthy have said before about the tweaking and modding he's been trying to do.no it's hard locked, i think is just some effect he uses from reshade that blends a bit the fog

AMD put out the new WHQL 15.7 drivers that seem to fix flicker in most of the game. Once 1.07 patch is out, hoping this is a solid Crossfire game again. The only flicker I seen was the map icons and one distant texture on a building. I'm going to play the hell out of this tonight and see how good the crossfire is, but it was hitting 60fps with hairworks off and no other tweeks set at 1080p in town on a HD 7970 crossfire.
d3d11 ? For directx 10, 11 is correct dll name for Reshade/SweetFX "dxgi"
I do not prefer Reshade/SweetFX with big changes and I love vanilla colors. Only contrast and very minor desaturation I use and game looks very nice. Shadows are tweaked and that is all. I do not know why people want completely change visual of this game. Only one thing must be change. Textures quality in distance.
Can you confirm please that you are actually downloaded the patch and not something else...look at 1.07 change log OO
by the way downloading the patch on steam right now
unfotunately is just some dlc/expansionCan you confirm please that you are actually downloaded the patch and not something else...
Thank you.
Guys, I need confirmation the two CPU related tweaks actually work.
1. Does your framerate really improve if you offload PhysX to the CPU? I have a weak GPU (GTX 750) but a relatively decent CPU (i5 3330). Should I see some improvement?
2. Also, regarding setting max CPU priority. Does this help too?
3. If these two settings are a help, why doesn't the game use it by default?
not to mention ,who has same components, has different resultNot everyone has the exact same components as you so the results vary.
Anyone know how to turn off that green effect on screen corners when you are high on alchemy?
not much tweaks lately, pals, so here's another version of my enhanced options mod.
download zippyshare. file goes to bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc\
to the old hairworksaa and mipmap tweaks
and extended shadow options, wich you can find right under gamma settings
i added extended foliage options wich is futher below
as always there is presets replicating game's vanilla settings and some extra. you can easily and INGAME go from vanilla low
to something like this. notice the framerate improvement, lol!
and ofcourse you can tweak from low
to some uber-mega-titansli-destroyer insane values
upd. testing revealed that there are limits to some settings. MaxVisibilityDepth may not be more than 24, FoliageDistanceScale and GrassDistanceScale is no more than 5, FoliageShadowDistanceScale is 64 max. for some of this settings nvidia suggested higher values, but the game always reverts to this max values. don't know how nvidia didn't noticed that. anyway, this has been reflected in fixed version. enjoy
Didn't fix this for sure: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3GoiZ4tI0I
I really do hope they'll eventually fix it.
There are some new options on the usersettings.ini i think. Some give you more control over the Hairworks thing they implemented.
And did this line exist before? I don't remember. Is it related to the DLC menu?
[ContentManager/Mods]
MaxNameLength=64
Enabled=true
it is right under the gamma menu, but it has no name. just point at the empty space there. and mod not 1.07 compatible yetDon't know why, but I don't get all those options :/
