ouups, this surprises me. But you will attend the GC Germany this year? It's just around the corner from Poland and travelling there has mo jetlag ;)

It´d be great if there is in TW2 some storyline about Kaer Morhen, maybe witchers return or something like that :D .But I gues it is impossible right ? :'(

Vesemir said they'd abandoned it, but abandoned isn't the same as tore it down. ;) Since the Professor and Azar Javed are dead at the end of the game, it's possible that the witchers will decide that their secret is safe now and go back.My husband's childhood home was destroyed a couple of years ago. (His father -- the only person still living there -- was out of town for an extended period of time. The heating system failed while he was out of town, so the pipes froze and burst, and when he returned home, there were several inches of water in all of the rooms, all of the walls were completely saturated with water, and mold covered every surface. The house was a total loss.) Although my husband hadn't lived there for years, he'd grown up in that house, and to see it in that condition -- and to know that it was going to have to be torn down -- well, he cried and cried. The witchers have all grown up in Kaer Morhen; it's their childhood home. And Vesemir has taught swordplay there for HOW many years? I wouldn't be surprised if they went back. And every time the subject comes up, fans usually say that they want them to go back. So, I think we can hope. If not in The Witcher 2, maybe in The Witcher 3. ;D

Hey All, It's been awhile sense I have been on but I'm glad to read that there is something happening with " The Witcher " my only question, Who is going to be doing the distribution of it over here in Canada. I'm going to be disappointed if It's going to be Atari. I'm not liking them as of the moment as I'm needing some questions answered and no one at Atari is giving me the time of day. Not a good stance to take with people who require customer suppoert. If I were CDProject I would try and find a better representitive over here in Canada, or tell them to smarten their act up and show better support to loyal customers. Better yet I would follow the lead of Ossian Studios and start making content Via Digital Download and get rid of the middle man. And if customers over here still want Discs, which I must confess I like to have that physical cd/dvd in my hand than maybe some type of deal can be made with EB games and similar stores that it can be shipped just to those stores. Sorry for this I'm no business person so I really don't know what is involved with sales but I do know that I would just like to snap my fingers and cause Atari and similar opporations some reall head-aches because after all is is loyal people/consumers like me that put money in thier pockets but I can't even get some decent customer support for their product(s). Anyway I'm glad to read about the new development on The Witcher, I really enjoyed the first one and always looked forward to continuing the adventure....... Cheers! Robert

Atari and EAGames have not had good customer support. Now Activision/InfintyWard is a different story. If they did a crpg with an InfintyWard engine. Man, I bet it would be great. Just wishing.

Oh god no. I hope CD Projekt RED stays as far as possible from Activision.

If I were CD Projekt I'd rather think about some minor publisher, for which W2 would be the most important game of the year than some big publishing companies as Activision or EA.

Hi, I agree with that all the way. I would love to start seeing " The Little Guys " getting some breaks. It kinda reminds me of the times when I looked in the want ;D ads, I would always see " Should have atleast 3-5 yrs experience for the position. Well how the heck is someone suppose to get experience if someone doesn't give them a chance. CDP-R, it really doesn't matter who you get to sell your game(s), if it is good people will buy. I have a 10.00 dollar pair of jeans on right now and they do exactly what a pair of Levi's do and I saved myself 50.00, hey wait a minute...... that's enough to go out and buy The Witcher2, hurry up I can't wait any longer LOL. Cheers! Robert

If a smaller company has the cash flow, resources, etc it probably wouldn't matter, but I think developers prefer the larger companies because of their resources. It costs a lot of money to print over a million dvds.

I was going to purchase DA Awakenings to help hold me over until Witcher 2 arrives, but I've been hearing some poor reviews of it....now I don't have anything to help pass the time. Can't wait for the news! I hope it lets us know the release date is coming soon!

Hey CK, I would not pay too much attention to what others might say about a game as it is all in the eye of the beholder, I just got done playing DA;O Collectors Edition ( Free downloadable content with it ) plus I pre-ordered so I got some extra stuff, then therer was the character creator bonus item as well. Plus the items you could get from the flash game. However if you just purchased the regular version then you could download ingame Via Biopoints. Now I know that it is nice to read the reviews but I have to say if I listened to all of what I have read I would never have played half of the mods I did in the NWN community. It is hard sometimes because we get use to a certain style of game play due to the different engines, and in all honesty I can't say one way or the other what game I like more. The Witcher, NWN1 or 2, DA;O. They all have their good points and there bad points, if you compair them to one another. I say don't....... These games are all on thier own level and good in their own ways, one could have a better story layout, one could have better flow of action, one may have a better feel to it. No..... for me as it stands right now they all are good and if you take them for what they are, without compairing then I couldn't pick one as better. One good example, would be DungeonLords, now if you compair that game to the above it isn't Great, but if you keep an open mind and just play it for what it is I really really liked this game and I was disappoointed to read that there wouldn't be another forth-coming oh well. I say go for it and get Awakenings, I actually picked mine up yesterday, but I haven't even opened yet, as I'm on the 3rd play of DA:O, and I can't start something else until I'm finished with that character. Which one do I like the most.......... I Love them all Unconditionally, Hehehehehe!!!!!! Cheers! Robert

Well, i totally choose The Witcher 8) I have finished DAO once but i dont have any motivation to play it again. It is not just so catchy as TW1 which i have finished six times ;D

Ditto love DA:O not to impressed with the expansion loved mass effect both of them and i only got witcher while i waiting for release of awenkings lol and i have to say i absolutely love it and now i am on theedge of my seat waiting for TW2 OMG!!!! I'm so excited!!!

I finished DA awakenings yesterday and i wasn't impressed especially for $40 but i'm a RPG junkie and buy it all mostly even the DLC's lol It took me about 12 hrs to finish awakenings but i have no life lol

Hi P.S., So have you been playing the different origins in DA as well? It's a shame not to play to see the different way the story unfolds for the characters. And I like getting the achievments for the different characters as well. I play RPG alot to, Don't forget about the community content for " The Witcher " either there are some decent length mods from there as well. It will be GREAT! though to see what the game developers have done with this next chapter though.I hope that the developers don't try to copy anything from the other games because I like the way it is now, game layout, inventory, etc. And although it could be interesting, I really don't see this as multi-player either. Cheers! Robert
