A little help? Mods please read.

Hello all, I have a little favor to ask from the mods or anyone that can help.

Last year when The Witcher 2 came out, I bought the Collector's Edition on launch at EB Games/Gamesopt (Canada) and ever since I have loved every single second of the game. I just built a new computer and I'm facing a dilemma. I don't have a disc drive and I'm not planning to get out because I want to switch to fully digital. The problem is that the retail copy I got is not Steamworks enabled and I'm unable to play the game anymore. Unfortunately my last harddrive got fried so I got a brand new one without having the chance of saving my Witcher 2 for the new comp. As I was ready to re-install my favorite games I realized I am stuck on this game because I cannot install it. Is there anything I can do to get it on my new PC as a downloadable version without having to buy the game again? I am willing to provide pictures of my Collector's Edition, with the discs, the serial key and all the goodies that came inside for mods if there is anything they can do. And if there is I would really REALLY appreciate it.

Thank you for your time, and I hope I posted this in the right section. I couldn't figure where I should as it's a weird request.

Unfortunately, the moderators don't have digital copies of the game to hand out to deserving people. Your best bet would be to do either of the following:

1. Write to the forum's Community Manager, MM360, a person who works for the developers (the moderators aren't employees; we're just volunteers) and ask him your question.

2. Go to the Support page, scroll down to the bottom, click on "Contact Us" and fill in the form they give you.

Good luck! I hope one of them can help you.
