A little too many familiar faces and voices in the world?

Dear CD Project RED.
When eventually you probably will do your Enhanced Edition of WItcher 3, could it be possible to hire new voice actors to re-do some of the dialogue in the game? I mean when Dragan of Arena DLC, Iorveth and Roche among many others from WItcher 2 and Blackwall from DAI voices sometimes every other second character you encounter while travelling in the world, it sometimes distracts you from otherwise great story and dialogue.
I actually caught you guys red handed re-using some of the recorded dialogue from your previous game where one random npc girl remarks to Geralt about his two swords the exact line from the one random npc girl from Flotsam!

I just visited the Temerian guerrilla camp in the game and literally almost every solider there spoke in the voice of Roche. It reminded me of Oblivion where there was about six voice actors total doing almost every character´s dialogue and usually that meant for example Wes Johnson speaking with himself everywhere you looked if the town consisted majorly from Imperial race only.
So more voice actors coudn´t hurt your otherwise great game and its immersion.

Also little more new face-model variations wouldnt hurt either because you meet little too often those same vagabonds from White Orchard Inn playing as bandits while attacking you and that braided girl from Ciri´s adventures among many many others.

Could it be possible to give some of the same-model-npcs different hair colors at least or something so it wouldn´t feel so much of a deja vu so often when you meet new otherwise interesting people in your open world?

The only one I really have a problem with is that god damn glasses wearing merchant. He's literally in every single town as well as traveling paths between towns. What's even more rude is he never seems to remember me!

Hehe yeah, I wish he'd spot a fake beard in some cities and at least pretend to speak in another accent. ;)
Or they full fledged go with pokemons approach.

It does break immersion a bit, honestly.

Have you played Skyrim? I think there are like 5 voice actors, total. After a couple hours you basically hear the same voices over and over.

Unfortunately that's just how it is in games like this. It used to be where most dialog was text-only. You can only hire so many professional voice actors...

I'd much rather they address some of the obviously rushed stuff in Act 3 if they're going to release a GOTY edition / EE.

If they ever going to do something like this, i am ok if they just give more variety to clothing and faces in particular. I remember seeing the Nilfgaardian commander Peter Saar in White Orchad as a blacksmith in the village Oreton in Velen , i had a good laugh with that.

Can character models be added and changed with mod ? If they can, then I hope we'll be having a lot of character models based on real ppl like celebrities or famous ppl once the Redkit is out. That's be awesome and hilarious seeing them in the game. Ppl can even make Daenerys Targaryen and a few other GoT characters using DA:Inquisition Character Creation.

How do I embed video in a post ?

The only one I got noticeably distracted by was Iorveth's voice actor doing VO's for minor characters.

I remember when they were making TW2, one of the things they said was that everyone had a different face. TW3 seems quite similar to TW1 in the respect that you regularly see people with not just the same face but also the same voice. The first three dwarves I met looked, and sounded exactly the same. One in WO, one in Velen and one in Novigrad.

Hello,

I did have the same disturbing experience. This is so annoying. The garrison commander in white orchard is a black smith later on in the game and the palace servant who helps you dress and learns you how to bow is one of the 2 guys who are worshipping a fake god that is actually a monster living underground. And one guy keeps coming back. It's the brother in law of the fake pass seller in Velen who wants you to protect him and his gang from monsters while they are looting a battlefield full of corpses. This guy is a bandid in almost every bandid camp! He even wears the same clothes everytime. CD Project please do something about this, because these things lets me realise that I'm not in a real world, but that I'm still playing a videogame....

Hmm... honestly I don't mind with the voices(engaging more voice actors mean more money needed) but CDPR could do with making more variant in NPC faces, which in turn, cheaper and faster to implement :)

If they didn't want to make random/custom faces for everyone they should have just gone through and slapped random beards, hats and other accessories on people. Especially ones like the merchant with glasses since he's interact-able meaning we constant see close-ups of his face. That makes his face being over-used much more noticeable than random peasants who are just in the background

A few spots are bad tho even in cutscenes. Once sceen of a witch trial and burning in the city you can clearly see that a few of the peasants in the crowd, right in the front row and even standing next to each other, are using not only the same exact face model but even wearing the same exact clothing

I don't mind the same voices either but the repetition of the same faces over and over again, not only from the important side quests but also from the main quest is indeed quite jarring and immersion breaking. I hope CDPR at some point in the future addresses this glaring distraction from an otherwise awesome game. I would be really satisfied with them just making unique faces for all the main quest and important side quest NPCs and the rest of the clones I'd be ok with, including the merchants.

Can't something like this be randomized ? like character creation in other games, we can just randomized it, and they can be really varied from one another.

The guy i keep noticing is the peller with the goat and big nose. I've seen his face on like 15 different people.

I know it is distracting, but CDPR don't have unlimited money, time and other resources to have all unique NPCs with all unique voices.

It's nice to want things, but don't expect any changes.

LOL

Yes CDPR, please make every NPC completely unique and hire hundreds more voice actors. We don't ask much.

The clones did become more and more noticeable after a few tens of hours, true... but then again, a random NPC generator can only do so much, and the same goes for the possible the number and lines of voice actors.
