What I most want to see in the Witcher Enhanced (besides features already announced: http://www.thewitcher.com/resources/upload/img/news/2008/02/Enhanced%20Edition%20fact%20sheet.pdf.)Better support for High Resolution Monitors Especially, anti-aliasing at high resolutions. Granted, most video card setups today won't run well with 4x AA @1680x1050, but in two years, most will. It makes this game one I'm likely to get out again when I upgrade my computer.Mouse Feedback Option Instead of tying the mouse feedback to the game difficultly level, I'd like this to be an option in the options menu.Anisotropic Filtering Fixed At least with my card, anisotropic filtering causes pixelation/shimmering of faces in dialogues. Forcing anisotropic filtering with nHancer fixes this, but I'd prefer not to have to do that.Cheaper Books It usually costs more to get a book with the monster entry to take a quest than you get paid to complete the quest! Books with ingredient and monster entries should all cost 100-250 orens, so that if you buy the book to take the contract, you roughly break even. What am I forgetting?

Hi, just joined to add my 2 cents. I held off on getting the original witcher because of the censorship(nudity/sex) in the US version and that I also heard that they took out parts of the dialog/scripts for the English version that was in the polish version. I was going to buy an import that was uncensored version, but read in the forum that the developers may have been planning to release a patch that would add the missing dialog that was in the English version. Now that the enhanced version is coming out I just want to add my voice to the chorus and ask/beg that they release an UNCENSORED version with all the nudity/sex/dialog/scripts(everything) that was taken out of the original game for US/English people. ;D If they can release Leisure Suit Larry: Uncut & Uncensored for the PC there is absolutely no reason the witcher cannot do the same.

yes yes they have said you can download the mod kit and download the extra missions... but that does not compensate us for the missing code and graphics!

Sure. I can answer both theses with the same sentence.According to the PDF documantation On page 5 of 6 and 6 of 6, The Code features, Graphic Features Code Fixes and Graphic Fixes are released "May 16[sup]th[/sup] as intergral part of "The Witcher Enhanced Edition". It does not mention that this will be avalable "March 14[sup]th[/sup] (Friday) in the Internet" like the other stuff does :'(Clearly theses features are some of the suggestions and "bug" fixes that "we" the community have suggested, Its not fair that we are not intitled to them, specually after all our efforts in trying to find sollutions around the issues.!
,EVERYTHING will be available to download. there won't be any "missing" things for the "first" game version owners.
Eriash...Do you mean "everything" as in just the in-game extras ONLY?Or do you mean "everything" as in-game extras and the Enhanced Edition BOXED non-game extras (such as the music, the map, etc)???So, when you mean "everything," does that mean all current owners of The Witcher game will be able to download, at some date in time...--ALL 29 OST Music Tracks in a downloadable format (such as in MP3, OGG)?--ALL 15 Inspirated Tracks in a downloadable format (such in MP3, OGG)?--The Andrzej Sapkowski short story in a downloadable format (such as DOC or PDF)?--The Developer's Guide in a downloadable format (such as DOC or PDF)?--The Enhanced Edition manual in a downloadable format (such as DOC or PDF)?
As for today there will be all content available for download. Everything that will be printed should be available in downloadable format.
It's great that we're getting all the in-game content...But, current owners are even getting the printed bonus stuff for download....Wow, that is awesome!!! :)Now I don't have to go out and buy Enhanced Edition when it gets very cheap just to get the Soundtrack, Map, Manual AND everything else that matters to me!!!Thank you Eriash and CDPR!

another doubt: if the DVD video included with the EE is not the same of the collector's edition, will it be downloadable also for those who registered their game?

I just want to say thanks to CDProjekt. Yes, you made mistakes, or more correctly Atari made mistakes, but you're fixing them, at NO COST to the community who bought your game - I think thats commendable in this day and age. You're a brand new developer but you obviously care about your community, I think that will be a major driving factor in your future success. And this may seem to be a suck-ass post but I believe in giving credit when credit is due. Good work CDProjekt.

According to the fact sheet, the additional adventures are only 5 hours long. According to the Michał Madej interview, they're 10 hours long. Which is correct?

I don't know if this has been asked already, but does The Witcher support DirectX 10 or just 9? If it does, how does it look in comparison to playing with DirectX 9? I'm running XP, so I don't know any of these answers.

They both are correct. Michal Madej does not say that each module is ten hours he says: "So, the Enhanced Version will include two completely new adventures, featuring over 10 hour of new gameplay".Two modules, each about five hours in length == 10 hours of new gameplay. He didn't say 10 hours of new gameplay, each. You were the one who said that :).

I didn't say they're 5 hours each in the fact sheet. The fact sheet says that one is 3 hours, and the other 2 hours. So they are not both correct.

I guess that all depends on how you play the game, you might be obsessive and want to find every item like me. Or you might want to speed through it and complete it fast I don't know. Any ideas on a release date for this? Sorry if this has been answered/asked already.

I, for one thing, am more concerned about the size of the whole thing. From the given description (i.e. rich content)it seems to me that the patch + Djiini not even counting modules are going to exceed 2gb. I have no idea how the hell am I supposed to download these! :wall:plus, I'm wondering if the patch will rise minimal system requirements for the game.

From what I could gleam from all the changes made, it doesn't sound like they've gone back and done increased the level of detail of the whole game, just some improvements on facial expressions and body movements during cutscenes, added more character models for the people on the streets, and maybe some weather improvements. So, I'm thinking that anything they've improved won't tax your machine in such a manner that you need to get a better video card, more RAM or faster CPU, Though it would be nice to see the gameply graphics bumped up so that there isn't such a difference between it and the cutscenes (some more scenes like the intro and ending would be nice to see.) Call me a romantic, but I'd like to see a scene or two, at the end, with either Shani or Marigold, with Garalt because the game plays quite heavily on the building of a close relationship with which ever you chose. Granted they become advisors for the king, but there's still some room for a scene with them breaking up over that choice or Garalt still staying in a relationship,
