Are you too lazy to reach F5 ^^ ? Many people would be happy to get rid of the crashesor with a better inventory. You must be very content with the game to make such requests ;D

What am I recommending? Continue your playing. With 1.3 patch it's already nearly perfect game. By the time EE comes out, you will have your game finished (probably) and then you can start once again, and again, and again... ;)

Any news on whether or not the EE download will supplement the original or will it 'stand alone'? ie a complete new package or not. Download times are significant in my case.

I just hope we can use our 1.3 save games with EE. I really don't feel like playing those quests all over again. If we can't use our save-games as-is, perhaps a way we can import/export our character and jump to a chapter that we haven't finished or started yet. 8)

I second that request. Now I always have to write down the time of a the saved games on a piece of paper, to be able to distinguish one savegame in a certain location from another one. Also, I would love to see some keyboard shortcuts for picking up items (like select next stack / select previous stack / grab all from stack).

I have to say that this seems very minor to me compared to what will actually be in the EE. It's all preferences and all that, of course, but honestly I don't think it needs to be anything but what they promised. To just demand more and more seems a little bit spoiled to me, especially considering how little some game developers do for their players.I'll be looking forward to this =)

I don't think this is a request thread for what you want in the EE. They already decided that. If they have a suggestions board, you should try there instead.

I don't know where to put this... but I wanted a dev to read this, just a few suggestions, if I may have a moment of your time...?Regarding the inventory panel... could their possibly be an auto-sort? Inventory management has never been my strongest ability. :-[ Also with the numbers over the icons, sometimes its very hard to tell what ingredient is what, so one has to slowly mouse over the icons to determine what they are.Lastly,
Act V, I was moderately okay with this the first time, but the cemetery swamp is absolutely a NIGHTMARE to navigate. The placables you can't even see stopping you from moving, giving you the feeling of the old time 'invisible wall' trick. I know that swamps are not by nature easy to navigate, but the design of this area totally distracts from the story and honestly, it's not fun to wander around trying to find your way around stones, logs, and more. This is the only area of the game where I think the level design suffered.
Anyway, I don't know if this topic has already been raised, but I had to say something. It's just really something that hampered the game play in my opinion. Thank you for your time, effort, and fantastic game CDProjekt! I look forward to the enhanced edition.

The Witcher's product manager - Maciej Sachmacinski - gave an exclusive interview to Polish gaming blog GRRR.pl. He delivered some completely new information concerning Director's Cut edition of Witcher. He also officially confirmed the console version of the title coming along nicely. No date has been stated though. Here is the sum-up:- the original release date (16-05-2008) of the Director's Cut edition has been changed to August/September in order to release the game simultaneously in all regions- the new edition will contain all previous patches and some new ones pre-installed into the game- there will be 50 new NPCs models added to the game- loading times between levels will be reduced by 80%- an additional DVD disc, containing two new story threads that will expand the gameplay by over a dozen hours of gameplay, will be included- modders will be very pleased because of the implementation of D’jinii tool, which will provide the ability to create their own Witcher stories (The Witcher was entirely made using this tool)- the edition will contain "the making of" DVD with both, Atari and CD Projekt RED's own, video documentaries- there will be two soundtrack discs (one containing game OST and the other one, titled The Witcher Inspired, will contain commercial songs by artists such as Vader, Rootwater, Habakuk etc.)- edition will contain a huge map of the game's world- Andrzej Sapkowski's short stories will be added to the package as well- game manual is new and extended (160 pages)- console version is already in the works at CD Projekt RED- the Director's Edition of the Witcher isn't the Collector's one, which will be released in the near future

Call me horribly cynical, but while CDP-Red will deliver this to Poland and neighbouring areas where it can oversee Witcher distribution, I have a horrible suspicion that certain other distributors *cough*cough*Atari*cough* will deliver the following (judging from past gaming releases....)* A 100% all plastic box with a genuine Witcher decal on the front* A copy of the new edition of Witcher (including Djinnii) on DVD* An optional CD-Key* A crumpled copy of the game manual* 100% free air at no extra costI really do hope I'm forced to eat my words, but the magic 8 ball says 'No'.
