Hello all! I just ordered The Witcher, Enhanced Edition from Amazon here in the US. I'm really excited to get this game and start playing. Just about everything I've seen about the game looks and sounds so amazing, with only a few concerns. I'm impressed that the developers from CD Projekt RED seem to actually CARE enough about your customer base after the original release is long over to go back and release the game again with so many improvements and fixes bundled along with new content for free to the people initially supported your project. I'm stunned! Yes, I hear the people complaining that if should have been polished and bug-free in the first place. Well, while I can't comment on the original version's playability, I can say that in the last decade or so of buying and playing many PC games it is not uncommon for them to come to market in a sad "beta" state. Several are even online and require you to pay a monthly fee to continue to tweak their product and get it to a moderately playable, barely satisfactory state. In all my years of playing video games I have never heard of owning up to your mistake, let alone correcting them. Giving away the new release with all the additional content is unprecedented. Thank you for showing the big studios how it should be done (well, at least the second time around). First question is, it's December and I'm curious to the final verdict on censored or uncensored in the US version?? AOC was released here and rated M with some fairly graphic detail seemingly without any problems. Second (and more of a concern) I've read about DRM problems with some people. Is there a confirmation that this new EE version will address and resolve the ****** "INSERT ORIGINAL DVD" *********** issue? I would be seriously unhappy if this game gets here and I install it, update it and then have this problem months after the game's release. I don't know anything (other than what I read briefly in the Wiki about TAGES but if I register the product, install and patch it up to date and play it with the DVD in my machine I would hope it isn't an issue.Overall I'm very excited to join this community in anticipation of an amazing game, but after reading 39 pages I couldn't find an official response to either (post release).Mają wielkie gratulacje i wieczorem na wspaniałą grę. Thank you again.
