A new modding website for The Witcher 2/3

I wonder if members would be interested to see an entire site on The Witcher 2 and 3.

Here are some images, the site is still in alpha version:

Note: My native language is French, but I intend to translate the site into several languages, namely French, English (priority), German and Spanish.

It is possible to upload mods, images, videos (with youtube api) and link these things together while placing them into collections to create fan-lists of mods, image or video ;)/>

I would like your opinion and whether people would be willing to play the game and participate in the site, and why not integrate the staff later :)/>

That's all for now, thank you.

Looks pretty good and I think now is the time to start websites that compile all the mods in 1 place. I really like the layout as it reminds of GOG (which is clean and clear).

I've never uploaded any mods, but I know most modders have requirements on what they want to see feature wise. A good way to get a feel for what should/could be included is to look at other similar websites like Nexus and ModDB

Good luck getting it finalised and up and running soon!

It would be nice if there were one main place for modders and players to use. I think that was the hope with the creation of The Witcher Nexus. It was created too late for it to be much use for TW1 (even now you have to hunt and hunt to find mods), but for TW2 I think it's already established as THE go-to site for mods. With that in mind I'd hope that when mods made with REDkit are published that the authors use The Witcher Nexus.

What I wouldn't like is to have mods scattered all over different forums and mod sites and personal webpages, all with many dead links (as is the state with TW1).

Of course it is good to have different pages, but as far as I could see the new Redkit page will exactly be this. You can upload your mod, upload pictures, videos, articles, different versions, have a wiki with tutorials, the wiki chat, the forum, etc.
Nevertheless I think it is a good idea. The more the merrier. :)

It really comes down to just where you and the other modders feel most comfortables. You're the ones doing the work, it's only right that you get to pick the site that works best for you.

Why this when apparently there will be REDKit Gallery on the site which should work good and supposedly without any ads, also there's Witcher Nexus.

Most of all I think that the official REDKit site should be the place to centralize everything.

Yeah, from the brief look i had, it looked like the redkit site will have an own gallery with all mods, so there is no need for another external site besides the Witcher Nexus.

I wasn't aware they were planning on having an official hub for modders to upload their mods. That's awesome!

Can't wait to see all the guides and wikis they have planned :D

Haha, I'm a bit hating myself right now because when the site leaked on Thursay I had the Wiki main page opened on my browser but I didn't immediately bother checking the tutorials since I thought it would stay... ;)

I tell ya, on Monday everything's going on my Hard Drive!

RedKit website... moders second home... wiki page for tutorials... hmmm, sounds all fine and well. I just hope it ain't going to be linked to the client. Seeing as TW2 mods will be quite the size, I'd rather download them on public connections ( Library) and save up my bandwidth.
