While I think Triss looks cute, I'd have prefered more similarities with Triss from Witcher 1. Especially the new voice makes it seem as if she's a different character.

I also noticed that Triss not only looks but sounds more girly. Maybe that's because there's room for a more bitchy sorceress in the plot

I don't know about the sound but I can't understand why people liked the looks of Triss in the W1. I didn't like her face at all - she looked old and ugly - Shani was way better... But the new face of Triss totally hits the spot (At least now I know what is it about the smexy withces that drives Geralt crazy) -_____-

Check this out: http://tw2.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=28407" • W2 uses DX9 right now. There are some chances that DX10 and 11 will have been added by the time of premiere. "And btw, the new background looks fantastic! ^^
