What city do you suppose that is at the end?

I was wondering too. Doesnt looks to me like Novigrad or Oxenfurt.

That was some beautiful CGI magic! Good going devs! Great job as always! :unworthy:

EDIT: Oh and don't think I failed to recognise the Black Blood potion from Witcher 1!

It was absolutely fantastic. Loved the nice touches. Just, don't get me any more hyped folks. I'm gonna have a cardiac arrest before the game comes out :)

I think I did. Once. Bloodzuigers you know. But like it says in the Journal entry: witchers don't enjoy using it.

Nonetheless, just because I don't use a certain potion, Sign, bomb or tactic, doesn't mean I don't appreciate them being there anyway. Available as options, I case I want to change tactics. Also for the sake of immersion.

I get a similar 'off' impression. I cannot quite put my finger on its source, though. It's a fine cinematic, technically and visually. However, while it's all very masterfully realised, and the tactical details are nearly straight out of the books, there's some subtle element lacking. . . .

Actually to me it looked like the most subtle of all Witcher trailers. The song, the dialog, sad bruxa and Geralt looking very tired of killing at the end. I didnt really like W2 intro that much for example. Shiny but a bit soulles. Here it feels like a poetry.

I saw a screenshot from the Witcher Adventure Game, the architecture looks kind of simililar to Cintra.

The best CGI cinematic I have ever seen. Both in terms of quality and by itself. It shows how dangeours enemy a Bruxa by real, and I just only hope that the degsiners forgot the TW2 Bruxa degsin and using something like this and the TW1 kind.

I actually thought this was a really good CGI trailer. Nice mixture of real footage and CGI.

It hit the right notes of fairy-tale-ness and questionable morality that are signature of The Witcher.

Pretty cool trailer. Just wish some of these monsters didn't look so attractive. It makes it hard killing them.

What do you mean by "real footage". This was 100% CGI as far as I know.

Well, this IS the witcher forums after all - where a sizable portion of users is comprised of people who are decent, educated, well-read grown-ups.

I don't know what is going on but at the end of the trailer, as she runs out and the singing starts, I literally teared up.
This does not happen.

What is this sorcery? CDP you magnificent masterful people.

As a far of Witcher for 16 years now, I just...there are no words really.

To me it looked the video was set in real life places set against a CGI background and enhanced with special effects to make them look more fantastical. The props, characters, and effects were all CGI of course.

I don't know whether there were any tricks used like that, but the video does look really close to real life at certain points (but this goes for the characters as well).

DO WE GET TO DO THIS IN GAME?
Why nobody Cares!?!?!

I would say we can do 95% to 90% of what happened in the trailers. I really like that most CGI trailers show things that are not even possible in gameplay.
