A quick question about Ciri (Spoilers)

Greetings.

So, I've been wondering for quite a while, you know when you end up finding Ciri, after the battle of Kaer Morhen, the Lodge wishes to talk to her, Ciri tells you about it, and I am not quite sure of the actual conversation, you select some stuff and you get to go inside as Geralt with Ciri and talk to the Lodge and find out what they want from Ciri, and I think that they wanted to take Ciri on their side or something like that.

Anyway, I would like to know what Ciri prefers the most. I've played the game already 5 times and I wish to play it again, but I'll wait till the 1.7 patch comes out before doing so. And I want to be ready, I actually wanna end up in a good ending with Ciri, and it wont trigger the bad one if I don't please her once I know that, but does any of you know for sure, does she wants Geralt to go inside and speak to the Lodge with her, or not? What pleases Ciri the most?

Thank you for reading.

You mustn't go with her, thats the _good_ decision. That will increase her self-confidence. ;)

I see, are you certain though?

And by not going with her, is anything going to change? I mean, the only way for the Lodge to "tend" to Ciri it would be if she becomes an empress yes?

Anyway, what by letting her go inside and talking to the Lodge alone, are there any consequences in the future?

Yes, Ciri has more self-confidence and is better equipped to fight Ice CthulhuTM.

There's no upside to going in with her to speak with the Lodge.

Just read an ending guide...

Edit: Of course there is a possible upside. If you think that this is the right thing to do just do it. Don't let CDPR`s stupid puzzle-like "choices" ruin all the fun of the moment for you...

No, this decision doesn't affect the ending directly.

There are five major decisions in the game that influence Ciri.

  • While completing the Blood on the Battlefield main quest, Ciri will ask Geralt how to manage her negative mood. You can choose to have a snowball fight with her (+1), or you can tell her that she doesn’t have to be good at everything (-1).

  • During the Father’s Day main quest, the Emperor will attempt to pay Geralt for bringing Ciri to him as they agreed. Geralt can refuse payment (+1), or he can accept it (-1). Refusing payment results in Ciri being proud of Geralt.

  • While completing the Final Preparations main quest, Geralt can allow Ciri to speak with the Sorceresses on her own (+1), or he can go with her and speak on her behalf (-1). The latter will cause Ciri to lose confidence in herself.

  • The Child of the Elder Blood main quest will see Ciri angry and determined to ransack the laboratory of Avallac’h. You can allow her to do this (+1) or you can tell her to calm down (-1). The former will help strengthen her resolve.

  • Also during Child of the Elder Blood, Ciri will tell Geralt she wants to travel to the grave of a boy who saved her. You can agree to go with her (+1), or tell her that there is no time (-1). The second option will cause Ciri’s spirit to weaken.

Some decisions are quite ambiguous because you can see them in different ways, e.g. destroying the lab.

That's a pretty big understatement. None of these situations is really clear. And all of them are constucted in a fundamentally flawed way (right vs wrong)...

Anyway, that's not the question of this topic. Sorry. ;)

Don't apologize. Feel free to debate and talk about anything, I don't mind at all, in fact it actually helps, I'd like to see your point of view too, what do you think?

Talk freely, debating is never a bad thing, we can start a conversation out of this, which isn't a bad thing.
