A short letter to CDPR

I would like this to be locked as soon as possible as to avoid unnecessary discussion. This is just my opinion in wake of latest things that's been happening with the PR of this game.I'm not making anything up unless statements of officials from CDPR are false.

Im not that touched about graphics as I am to the story and I want to play this game because of conclusion.I DO NOT feel cheated, I actually feel sad that this game couldn't come up as magnificent as it was presented 2 years ago. I don't want to accuse CDPR because I understand that a lot of people worked very hard to give us this behemoth of a game and it would not be fair for all those workers to bash them on account of graphical issues when they made a game with 200+ hours.

My main "problem" with playable version isnt exactly quality of graphics, its atmosphere the game is giving. If anyone read the books, they will know how world is dark and gritty, filled with despair and dark tone. The trailers from 2013 hit the exact spot of that world. It was not lush and beautiful and green, as it is in playable version. It was much much darker. The best comparison is a before and after screenshot of Geralt on horse standing and some farm in distance. The "before" tone was very dark, with grass that was basically dieing, orange in color. And after looks like im some kind of fairy tale with princes and princesses.Thats my main concern. Every video i watched, Geralt is battling monsters on bed of roses.Everything is nice and shiny instead of dead and war torn.

I have to say that it is beautiful to see what the engine is capable of doing in 2013 and cant wait the day to see games look as good as it was shown on trailers. People need to understand that gaming industry isn't a small and trifiling thing and that big companies involved would want their products to look inferior in any way. I know I'm stepping into territory of current wars going on and on, but, Witcher 3 showed the full potential of today PC graphics in comparison to consoles, and actually made next gen consoles look bad.Just a note here : that was the actual statement of CDPR official stating that consoles couldn't manage their vision of the game and that it was too much to work for both pc version and console version. That was bad marketing for two giants.A really bad one.BUT, it is not gamers fault they have been giving things to people on a coffee spoon here and there.

I would truly like if CDPR changed their mind in a year or two and give us their vision of the game as it truly was in an EE version. As much for gamers, as for themselves. Imagine you make something beautiful and some guy comes and tells you to make it a bit uglier just so other people could enjoy it too. That has to hurt in so many ways.
