A special sword..

I've always wanted to get a sword called Head-taker, as my friend got it on playing EE on xbox,so i dug into xml files on witcher 2 to find this sword, but to no avail. Does anyone know under what file it could be, or does it even exist for witcer 2 ee pc version.. know its kinda crazy to go after a single sword like this, but it is kinda obsession at the moment.

Yeah, was there didn't spawn, so i just wanted to perhaps put it in a shop or something , but can't find any info about it in witcher 2 files. So im wondering if it even exists for pc.

In my many plays of witcher 2 i`ve never seen this sword drop . It may be a 360 exclusive .

A number of those overpowered swords (in this case, a crafting diagram appears, not the sword itself) are random drops. This one has been known to appear in the ruined hospital, in the room you have to open with Aard. But I have played the EE a number of times, without ever finding it there. So maybe it has a chance of appearing, but it is a small chance.

The sword is called "Decapitator" in the game files, so you can add it to a shop if you want. First rule about modding TW2 game files, items are very rarely called by their ingame names. Hell, sometimes the shops aren't either, and the name of a shopkeeper in def_shops is the Polish name... no wonder it took me so long to find Sendler's, he's called Zegota in Polish!
Also, if you want the diagram in a shop instead of the sword (playing it a bit more fair), the name for the diagram is "Schematic Decapitator", not "Diagram Head-Taker".

I've heard that there are a bunch of swords added in the EE that can be found in some chests, but some of the sword diagrams are broken, in that your game glitches if you try to make them or something.

You have to make a save outside the Hospital, watch the scenes with the ghost...kill the wraiths and open the wall with aard thats the only way to make the chest reroll its content. It seems on XBOX all you need is to save before breaking the wall.

im doing this atm , takes around 2:30 minutes. Ive done it for a couple of hours and all i got was a diagram for Zerrikanheran and a Robust Sword of Dol' something . I will keep at it until i get the diagram for a useful weapon, hopefully the head-taker.

Was able to add it to mysterious merchant, and didnt know it actually rerolls it on pc, thought that didnt work.
