Ciri won't be there. Only one ending would make sense in still having her around.

HoS was awesome without Yennefer or Triss. I don't need them there.

If that thing about Vilgefortz is true then for sure Ciri will be involved after all the history between those two.

Regis as well maybe.

Yeah I don't remember Vilgefortz ever saying that in either Time of Contempt or Lady of the Lake (which are the only two conversations I remember between the two of them speaking). I'm pretty confident he doesn't say it in either of the meetings. So unless it's in a dream or through a portal or something that I'm forgeting, I'm pretty sure the quote is either made up or inaccurate.

Nope, I don't remember that from the books - check the Vilgefortz sections in Lady of the Lake and nothing is there.
Probably a fake quote to stir some theories. (added to wiki by Harlington2001)

Indeed, first i recalled that it was one of the quotes between chapters in the books, tho i did double check all of them and did not find that quote. I call it fake and made up aswell.

When do you think we will receive any kind of official info? I would guess February maybe.

Will this be a new map, or will it be like HoS?

EDIT: The square is not made to say that will be the size of the map. It is there to demonstrate that B&W will have to be a separate map due to it's geographic location.

As we can see, it'll be rather far away from the action of the main game, and Hearts of Stone. Also, if I recall correctly, Toussaint is a neutral, and largely independent, vassal duchy of Nilfgaard.

Sacre bleu!
I hope Geralts new aquaintences will have a hotel room with Eiffel Tower view, and lots of romance.
And maybe some Novel Cuisine cooks who use blood instead of wine and practize other cannibal and vampiristic preferences too so Geralt really gets new creepy and stealthy and Hannibal-style intelligent and charismatic and difficult to accuse two-faced enemys (rich aristocrats - maybe cooks or false doctors or highly decorated people at daytime, and vampire and cannibals and serial killers at night).
With lots of the new volumetric fog introduced by the HoS DLC and creepy Jack the Ripper London style Alleyways and architecture in some streets like Frogware`s "Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper" from 2009. Not everything should look like Paris ;)

And maybe one of Geralts new Girlfriends should be a Vampire who has scruples in being a Vampire. And she don`t want to walk the night and suck blood anymore and because of that she asks Geralt to break the curse after lots of romance and love scenes, and tells Geralt a lot about her life like in the movie "Interview with a vampire" and "Twilight".
And plays sad tunes on her violine while the rain is dropping on the windows, and Geralt is overwhelmed by so much profound and warmheartedness from such a dark creature and completely falls in love.

They go for long walks at night after and have long talks and discussions, and Geralt must admit that he never before have someone met like her.

Aaaaaaw yes that would be perfect.
Shani is a little bit too rational and not really caring and loving like Triss did and therefore Geralt needs another and more dark and mysterious and loving and caring but gothic and creature of the night female companion whe really could be a thread to Geralt and Triss relationship.
And to connect her to Triss somehow.... well the Vampirella could be some old friend of Triss or even Triss first lesbian romance she never before talked about and she fell victim to a vampire curse and Triss barely made it out alive of the vampire castle. And Triss has sworn to kill all of them Vampires but cannot do this anymore when meeting Vampirella again and Vampirella says "if you don`t kill me I do it myself!" and tries to hammer a stake through her own heart but Triss stops her and begs her to bite and make a Vampire-Triss so she can enjoy the darker side of life. Because Triss cannot resist the immortality and powers anymore and Geralt now needs to save both of them from the vampire curse........
And much more stuff like that.
That kind of complicated and dark and gothic relationship would make everything even MORE than interesting and is way better than just some another girl-next-door flirt :) (which of course should also take place in the new DLC there can be some regular flirts and love scenes too not related to the main DLC storyline).

The square on Toussaint should be red :D

Anyway, HoS has its own thing going, but it revolves around a character who we interact with in the main game for a very short time and seems innocuous at first.

So I am looking at the game now and trying to think of which bits might lead to something else..... and trying not to get too stuck on the words Blood and Wine, since "Hearts of Stone" really doesnt tell you anything about what HoS is actually... about. If you look at it in relation to the aforementioned characters presence in the main game... theres really nothing to connect the two events (the short, early meeting and then HoS itself ) and the name, Hearts of Stone.

The only solid feeling I have so far - Concerned Citizen Sermons are involved somehow.

Nope those are related to a quest in the main game.

It is wierd I know, but after Two normal playthroughs and a NG+ playthrough, doesnt seem like they have another purpose but they do start appearing relating to that quest.
