Turn Geralt into a vampire ... it'd certainly give CDPR an excuse to introduce new game changing mechanics which some people have been asking for.

Geralt amazes me. When it comes to Gwent, the man has no shame.
There will be new gameplay mechanics, but I don't see anything related to Vampirism happening. His eyes also look normal to me.
Remember, we've seen B&W footage from the Roach trailer. Geralt looked normal there. He also looked normal in that quick 15 second clip.

Wasn't the consensus that people don't get turned in-to vampires, and that they are their own, separate race? I feel like I remember reading that, earlier on in the thread.

Vampirism isn't an illness in Sapovski's works. It cannot be caught or transmitted. Any more than Elfism can be.
