Some suggestions for small hands:
Roccat Kone Pure Optical
Zowie FK1, SteelSeries Sensei, Roccat Kova

Mostly, mice from Zowie Gear and Roccat Studios are your friends.

Thank you, I have looking for this brand in shops (I'd like to touch it before buy it) but I cannot find it here. Maybe I'll have to take a journey to Barcelona. :(

I'm in the market for a new mouse. The Logitech G402, or the G300s looks good. (I'm stuck on a rather low budget.) Any opinions on the performance, size, or button arrangement?

I've got large mitts and a small mouse cramps my palms. i hope this model works out.

I've got medium hands, I suppose, so that one's a bit large, and a bit more than I can comfortably afford. But, I hope you get many happy hours of play out of it!

Just a question... any of you knows if there's a brand which make good "small" mice? for little hands like mine? My handspan measures just over 20 cm and all good mice are too wide or large for me....

I dont recommend products from ROCCAT, like Razer they tend be overpriced mediocre products.
The only Razer product i would consider recommending is the Deathadder, but its still Razer my 2013 has already started to double click so even though i love it i cant honestly recommend it :/

Im not sure about Zowie, but i have heard good things about them.

Your hands are the same size as mine and personally i would recommend SteelSeries, just good solid mice.
Many people i know use SteelSeries, and i have used them several times and i got nothing but positive things to say about them.

But anyways some more input from others would be good ^^

I'd love something like the Razer Nostromo, but not made by Razer.

I quite often use middle mouse click to open a new tab in Firefox (without switching to it). That's useful while you read some page and open some relevant links to read them after you finish that page first. However for me, such frequent clicking on the middle button causes fingers strain. So an easier way is to use middle button emulation by pressing left and right buttons at the same time. This way the strain is way less. On Linux it's usually disabled by default, but you can enable it with xinput.

For instance I put this in my $HOME/.xsessionrc
Code:
xinput set-prop "Logitech G400s Optical Gaming Mouse" "Evdev Middle Button Emulation" 1
---------- Updated at 11:27 PM ----------

Also, I recently tried using another Logitech mouse (M500) which has two scrolling modes - rapid (or how they call it hyper) and regular. In rapid mode the wheel turns freely and it's really great for fast scrolling. Unfortunately that mouse is quite small and not so comfortable to hold in comparison with G400s, and using M500 for a long time also causes a hand strain for me (unlike G400s). The only other mouse with such fast scrolling mode that I found that isn't too small is Proteus Core. Did anyone use it? How good is it? Those angular buttons don't look very ergonomic to me.

Personally i prefer the CM Storm Inferno as a mouse.
http://gaming.coolermaster.com/en/products/mice/inferno/

Reason is simply the two additional buttons on the upside... easily reachable and not accidently pushable.
For Witcher 3 i have bound fast attack on left mose button...and strong attack on the button left next to it. Just have to move the finger half a centimetre.
For another reason: the mouse is quite small... it fits perfectly for my "fingertip-high sense" playstyle (i never rest my palm on the mouse and only use a few centimeters of space on my desk to move it)

In Addition to this i like the Logitech G13 Gamepad.... or the Saitec X52pro depending on game.

Looks like controller will be very configurable, and probably use some firmware which will emit different events depending on configuration. So far there are no details whether that firmware or tools for configuration will be FOSS or not.
