About those Thronebreaker cards

Has anyone said whether the ones usable in Gwent will be exclusive to people buying Thronebreaker?
If yes, are they unique, or just alternate versions of cards from the main set?
If no, how might they be earned? Special rewards? Special kegs? Regular Kegs?

Seems like exclusive unique cards would be problematic.

Thus far, there's been no official word here beyond what we've seen in the existing GOG place-holder:

Getting the single player campaign also unlocks 20 new, Thronebreaker-inspired cards for your multiplayer collection, letting you take a piece of the adventure with you into online duels.

Whether this will still be the case or not remains unknown.

Personally, I would assume, if they were to stick to this plan, the cards would probably just be special artwork cards, with functions identical to regular cards in the main collection, and with no special advantages over those other cards. However, this is merely a guess. Only the REDs can say for certain.
