Accidentally overwrote save file

I started a new game and I had to go so I saved and by instinct I just tapped A as fast as I could and I accidentally overwrote a save file that was almost at 100% completion. Is there any possible way to get that save back?

I doubt it. There are a few (3?) quicksave slots that will roll over each other, but once you've saved over one, it's gone. The only thing you could do is look at the files in your ...\Documents\The Witcher 3\gamesaves\... folder and check the "last modified" dates. If they're all the date you mashed the key...then that's it...

You have no manual saves? Manual saves are not overwritten by quicksaves or autosaves.
