Achievement: Mission Impossible - Tips on how to get it

Hi guys,

A few tips on how to get this achievement? Is there like a seasonal mode that allows one to easily get this one, similar with the Dual Casting one that makes it easier for one to get the Specialist achievement (win a game using 15 special cards)?

Would this achievement pop up if I nuke an immune card that I play? Like for example I play Saesenthessis, my opponent goes for a lower power card and then I nuke my Saesenthessis with a Curse of Corruption or Scorch.

This is the last achievement I need on Steam Gwent.

Would greatly appreciate your input.

The easiest way is to use cards/units that don't require you to target an opponent's card (Scorch, Curse of Corruption, Predatory Dive, Lacerate, etc) or cards/units that damage a random enemy or an entire row. Dual Casting is also a good mode for doing this since you can double up on all those cards each time you play one. The biggest issue is actually getting an opponent to play an immune card in the first place. There's not a lot of them that I see commonly played... Sometimes there's a werewolf in MO thrive decks, sometimes ST dwarves will play the immune/resilient unit ranged in R3, but that's about it.

As for testing it on your own card, that should be easy enough to do and ought to work since it doesn't say anything about being an opponent's card. I know that works for contracts, as that's how I got the one for destroying a 30+ card - by consuming units after my opponent passed and then scorching my own card. If not, you should be able to arrange to play against a friend to unlock it.

I don't see why not since it doesn't specify "enemy unit".

I can't remember how I got that one, but I strongly suspect it was with either Scorch or Igni.

PS. Currently there are a lot of Sir Skewertooths around, so one of those would work nicely if you don't want to kill a unit you played.

Got it. It works if you destroy your own immune unit. Thanks!
