[ACT I] Burying the merchant's friend

II already killed the ghouls inside the crypt, and I talked to the reverand and got permission to bury the remains in the crypt. But in my journal, it still says I have to get pemission. The dialogue option is closed now, and I'm sstuck with the quest. Any suggestions?

Have you tried going into the Rev's house yet?

Yeah, but even in the house, I already used the dialouge, but it didn't register. When I spoke to the reverand about it though, he was outside. Does that have something to do with it?

It shouldn't. IF you CAN go in the house, go all the way to the back, then turn left to face and go down the stairs, should be able to commence from there.

I think he's getting his crypts confused. You need to do the eternal fire quest first (candles on the shrines), then ask for permission to bury him and you bury him in the chapel crypt, not the crypt Mikul asks you to clear of ghouls.
