okay so I got through the entire section, (at least so I think), and I'm up to the part where you have to show Migul (or whatever his name is) your pass and he turns you into his seargent, and right after Geralt drops his sword the cut scene ends and then all I get from there is just a plain black screen. I've lowered my graphics from high to medium, and I have the latest patch, what should i do?

It is a known bug Try to look out for someone who could send you a save just after that point... If i get there and pass it, i will put one on rapidshare, but i doubt i will get there before the patch for it is out lol !!! I have the game since release and i am not at the middle of act 1 lol !!!

thanks, If anyone can provide me with a save with what directly follows, or provide an alternate way to get past this (if there is one), I would be very greatful.

Maybe we have power gamers that could make a save just after it without using any skill points and gathering a decent amount of orens

I really don't care much for the orens, i could make them up in side quests, the abilities would be useful but i could deal with it.

So, anyone found out how to deal with this problem, except getting another save game? I got the same problem aswell, screen goes black right after the cut scene and nothing happens. It's just to stupid to get another save game to continue.

I am new to this, it is the first forum I have ever joined.I have a save game for in the dungeon but attachment limit is 128kb and the file size is 13.1Mb, over to you Mobidoy how do I get this file to these people.Gerrald is level 11, Orens 7000 approx and plenty of goodies, unfortunately they are stuck with the skill choices I have made.

The problem is due to the fact that you are playing the retail game with a demo savegame....
