[ACT I] De Vries

**POSSIBLE SPOILERS**On the strength of Berengar's notes, I decided to do a little experimentation with De Vries Extract - the potion that allows you to see invisible 'creatures'. I tried it at most locations during night and day cycles and found pretty much nothing. When the Hellhound appears and disappears it does exactly that. So you can't follow it anywhere. I can't find it's presence anywhere else, either. The interesting thing I did find was that Odo's brothers suits of armour shows a definite presence. There are two theories as to this. The first is technical and not so great, the second an imaginative way of looking at it.During modding for Oblivion I've come across a technique used to position static objects based around character models. It involves putting a frozen NPC into a position which you can dress however you like. It was used for mannequins by some people. I'm not sure how The Witcher works or if that suit of armour really is just a frozen NPC, but it's a possible explanation of why it glows. I know there are other suits of armour in certain points in the game, I'll test whether they glow or not when I come across them again. The other, nicer, explanation is that the developers put it here on purpose. Odo's brother is haunting him in the suit of armour. Maybe others have fun theories as to why the suit shows a presence?
