[ACT I] Ozzrel on hard
I could use some advice on this one. I enter the battle against Ozzrel the ancient cemetaur with a normal steel sword with a necrophage oil coating, swallow, cat, a sign of power(which doesn't add much since I just use one Igni before starting the actual sword fight), and lastly blizzard. However, when Ozzrel gets to around half to a third of its health I somehow get knocked down and/or have the bleeding effect incurred, and any of these is a quick ticket to witchers' heaven..either of these could happen even if it seems the monster's "hands" which it uses to attack with, are not moving. I could try adding nigredo/rubedo to the potions but that wouldn't make the difference between winning and losing would it? And replacing the blizzard potion with a thunderbolt would make things worse, right? Of course, I could "invent" the willow or the white raffard potions thanks to the wiki, but since I get their recipes much later in the game and I trust the game devs judgement of when to receive those recipes, I'd consider it cheating. I'm open to other suggestions. Oh, and trying to get an upgraded sword is a no go since I fought Savolla in the Prologue but somehow missed getting the blue meteorite :
on an off-topic tangent: Last time I played on Hard, and I did play from the beginning to the end, only Ozzrel and Coccadicium(the tough archespore in the swamp) were a problem. Every other boss or group of ordinary monsters were dispatched if not on the first, then on the second attempt, while, to my shame, I could only beat the swamp archespore by spamming ranged Igni outside of its range.
