Maybe there is one Salamandra left who you have to kill. Then you may proceed (I guess, you have to use the winch to open the gate.)How is the atmosphere there? I mean, Wolf head in left upper corner slighty vibrating? This indicates, there is an enemy around. Walk around an press alt to see "red marked" opponents. We have a Save game market but you have to register your game to join this market. Nevertheless I would try to find the solution on your own because you are just in the beginning phase, dont' give in :witchmas:

no i din't......let me walk you through with what is going one.First i see the prologue movie in which i get by the other witchers and while i am in Kaer Moren the bandits attack. Then when the movie is over i am in the courtyard and i have to take a sword from a practice dummy.I take the sword and i fight the bandits with Lambert. After we finish,if i try to talk with Lambert he says "Let them come,we will show them the meaning of pain".And the medallion is normal,so there aren't any enemyes left.I can't even reinstall the game,I borrowed the game to a friend and he is away for chrismas, only be returnig after new year.i really want to play the game, plsss anny help would be great!!!!!is there even a way to remove the Enchanced Edition patch.......thats my last solution:(......last resortDo not double post

sure, reinstall your original game and then patch it to version 1.3 :witchmas: (Edit: had not seen your comment about not being able to do that)But for your specific problem ... when i play the prologue, after doing my first 'practice sword run', i follow the witchers and triss as they go up towards the main keep. I just keep following them until Vesemir stops and at that point, there is a forced conversation between vesemir and Geralt.do you get that far ? have you followed everyone up towards the main keep ?

none of the other witchers helped you during that first battle ? that sounds like a bug and since it's the very first battle, i'd really suggest starting over.you can press esc to skip cut scenes if you don't want to wait through them again and clicking the left mouse button interrupts dialogue and moves it along if time is a big issue for you :witchmas:you should be helped by all the witchers (not entirely sure if triss joins in, but she might too). when that battle ends, which it does ... i believe there is even a forced bit of conversation. After that, they all run over to the ramp going up, and triss blasts a path through, then everyone runs up towards the main keep and you are meant to follow. they won't talk to you, vesemir will when you reach him, and again, that is forced so you don't even need to click on him.if the path to the ramp is clear, you may have just missed them, follow it up ... don't think there's much choice of where to go, so you can't really get lost.otherwise, start again
