[ACT I] Stuck in Salamndra Cave *spoilers*

Hi,I am stuck in the salamndra cave with the children, right after you fight a whole bunch of them in act 1, i pressume i need to use Araad to knock over that one wall but it wont work for me...any ideas?

The stone wall in front of Alvin does not crumble when you use the sign of Aard?

alvin is not there..........hmmm or i can not just see him

Alvin is sitting next to me for the past 4 hours, as I've been trying to break through this 'weak' wall, to no avail. Aard doesnt work, I've tried a lot of things (Switching Medalion to detect magic, meditating in case I found a bomb recipie, cat potions to look around the cave).There's nothing to interact with close to the wall, and if Aard is used to break through I dont suppose you have to have a highly specific positioning, just looking at it from around 3 feet.Any ideas what is going wrong?

Where did you find alvin...there are 2 other kids here but not alvin

Alvin should be in the cave, near a rock wall. You probably can not see him because it is very dark.

No he is not down there..... i am going to try this again from just outside the hideout.....so when did he get kidnapped?

That is really odd. Alvin has to be in the cave. Okay, here are the events before you find him... (spoilers)1. You fight the bandits in the Country Inn and get the key from the dead Innkeeper.2. You fight the 2 bandits outside of the abandoned house.3. You fight the bandits inside the abandoned house.4. You fight the bandits in the cave. Alvin appears and compliments your fighting skills.5. Alvin goes near a rock wall and says it might crumble if you use force.So far so good?

Yea all of those events happened and i replayed from a much earlier state and still no alvin!

I fixed it, i guess i had a cut scene with alvin in the church, when i went to bury that guy and the ghost of the hunt shows up.....that was causing alvin not to appear at the caves........please take note of this bug

ive got the exact same bug, im stuck in the cave with no alvin! simon and theodore are here but no alvin, how will the chipmunks make a comeback with no alvin!!! ;D joking aside this needs fixed plz!

Did alvin appear in the church with you and say he burnt the reverend if so.....load a save before that and dont solve the quest where you bury the guy and then you can continue .....it sucks but it worked

i'vew spoken with nearly every npc ..i'm sitting in the cave, alvin is there, the wall does not break down if i use aard..??whats the problem? i've jumped there trough the whole cave.. opened the 2 chests.. looted every of the dead bandits.. mhm.. /cryplease help

Thx for tips, had the same problem, had spoken with alvin in church so he is not in cave and can't exist cave as aard doesn't work will reload an old savebtw when you finish the decent grave quest the phantom appears and talks to you something that is not clear then it says that he sent you a ghost looking like Leo to fight you...well here it never did occur

I have no problem with Alwin, but I dont have any aard power and the problem is that it doesnt restoreor more precisely - I dont know how to restore it - meditation doesnt do it eating or drinking doesnt do itI have no clue how to get out of the situation

I can confirm. I spoke with alvin in church, he does not show up in cave. After returning to church he is still there. Please fix it.

goddamit! this sucks really bad, i really don't wanna play the first act again, it took me 17 hours to get here, and thats a whole week of gameplay for me... isn't there a noclip or something just to get pass this?

Guys Ive got the same problem... Isnt there a hotfix or an other way to do this?I dont have a save before I spoke to the caplan about the cave so I cant end the quest with the burial...Please help =(

Cave, no Alvin, Aard doesn't work on barrier. Game in wastebasket.
