Well well... ;D in some posts I read users don't have a heart to kill dogs for the "Dogcatcher of Vizima" quest but many of you want to murder an old weak woman who just cares of her granddaughter.

LOL, yes, ironic that!I see no reason to kill Grandma, or to kill dogs (as long as one is thorough in terms of looting).

Granny and I always get along ... she calls me "Father"! ;DAs for dogs, in this go around I am neither looting homes nor killing blue creatures. For the dog quest, I managed to get a Fleder to kill a few dogs as he chased me around. ]:->

I'm still trying to win Grandma over - got close today when she mentioned it was her birthday. She dropped a gigantic hint about golden gloves - which was bad timing, since I'd just given the pair I bought to the Gossip in exchange for a little... well, let's just say she was grateful (!) (Which led me to thinking "How grateful would granny be if I bought her a pair..... EWWWW!!!! No thanks!!) So I went into my inventory to see what else I had and suddenly my eye fell on..... a packet of Fisstech I'd been saving for Jethro.....OH MY GOD,I was sooooo tempted! You can't imagine! Would that be worse than killing granny - giving her hard drugs? :-\ *Dilemma* :-\

I think she gives enough seducing hints which should Geralt make prick his ears and take the chance ;D@MPetrosYep, granny called my Geralt 'father' as well, she has so much trust in him and is convinced he never has any bad intension towards Shani ]:->

She even asks him to get Shani to "mend her ways"... she wants Shani to give up medicine and spend her time praying. Of course, Geralt is just the person to do that ;)

Bearing that in mind... the first time I expected the worst from Granny when Geralt and Shani had their intimate joyride upstairs and there was the cutscene when Granny noticed raised activities uspstairs  Maybe she thought it's some sort of devitional praying ;D

My favorite part is just after Geralt and Shani have... done the deed. When you go downstairs and talk to Granny, she yells about her heart, "To think what you've been doing!!!"Of course, Geralt can smoothly lie his way out of this one. But I prefer the second option, Geralt yells "DIE HAG!" and she falls down dead of a heart attack.

I had not tried that option :) -- good to know, I found it funny enough with the non-fatal option

I haven't used it either... Geralt kills only poeple / creatures / enemies who endanger him or his missions. Granny is a pain in the neck but not reason to kill her.

But Geralt doesn't kill her. She dies of a heart attack. We know from her dialog she already had a bad heart... So, is it Geralts fault?

By this you admit that Geralt has knowledge of Granny's heart condition. This speaks to the issue of "intent". He knowingly, menacingly threatens her, with the full intent of seeing her die.
