Yes because previously you find out Ramsmeat is a suspect, hence Raymond wants you to kill him. You may repeat the autopsy with an earlier save to get an other suspect. Or... did you check when you talk to Raymond if Geralt has a dialogue option "I killed Ramsmeat" though you didn't (its a lie ]:-> ) Choose that and go on with the quest.

#1 if you looted the guards bodies the key in in your quest items just go open the door #2 you DON"T have to kill ramsmeat, you can lie to raymond and say you did' it is an option just go back and talk to him and tell him he's dead

Ramond has todl me to go kill him. he has gave me no other option.

you have a choice to lie to the false raimond...because in actuality ramsmeat is innocent...when you meet raimond the 2nd time he's not the real raimond he's azar javed and he'll propose you to fulfill kalkstein's quest for the tower he'll even give you a sephira, the last one which in kalkstein's notes will come to you in time.

i am on this quest too, i have tried killing Ramsmeat, i do, but his guards end up killing me and it's getting frustrating, trying over and over and...i will try lying to Raymond and see if that works.editokay i didn't have that option, but now i have to tread on thin ice with Raymond. i'm at a loss, what do i do now?edit againokay i know something is up because the medallion icon shakes wildly whenever i go near Raymond...
